Homolovi State Park Ruins -Winslow Arizona

Homolovi State Park -Winslow Arizona “Homolovi” is Hopi for “Place of the Little Hills” - the traditional name for Winslow, Arizona.
Homolovi State Park now serves as a center of research for the late migration period of the Hopi from the 1200s to the late 1300s. While archaeologists study the sites and confer with the Hopi to unravel the history of Homolovi, Arizona State Parks provides the opportunity for visitors to visit the sites and use park facilities including a visitor center and museum, various trails, and a campground. Several covered picnic tables are located throughout the park. Pullouts provide the opportunity to observe wildlife in this park of over 4,000 acres at an elevation of 4,900 feet.

I camped here last May, was very nice. Lots of info and nice exhibits at the visitor center. I really enjoyed hiking up to the ruins. Campsite was a bit unnerving due to warnings to watch for rattlesnakes. Thankfully I didn't see any. So glad you made this stop. I enjoyed seeing this place again.

Nice video, Russ. I stayed overnight in Homolovi campground in 2019. Before COVID, it was easier to find an unoccupied site. Now it takes reservations long in advance. It must be the same everywhere. Now, Petrified Forest, here we come ! The Painted Desert, pine logs turned to stone, old buildings, plenty of wonderful things to explore. If you continued East on I-40, you would join US Rte 191, then North towards Canyon de Chelly (quite some distance though), another wonderful natural site to discover. Maybe some other time. RICHARD

Wife and I Counted 19 vacant but reserved and paid spots at Homolovi Campground last week at one time. That’s a small campground. What’s the total number of spots? 39? There are not many RVs on the highways right now. I’m finding the gift shops, the national parks, and the other tourist interests being vacant or lightly used. It’s a real shame. Maybe it’s the price of gas. Well your life is not going to give you a second chance.

Thank you, nice video! After the worldwide flood of Genesis, the great mountains and continental drift occurred with the earth axis tipping turning one ocean into many oceans and reducing the flood waters exposing land and also making many temporary lakes. All these events adding to Climate Change. Many lakes and forested areas dried up and, in some cases, leaving petrified wood. We have petrified wood in washing state of a tree, Ginkgo that is native to China! Before continental drift the USA, west coast was attached to China. Most probably when the lakes and forest disappeared then the people moved on leaving abandoned homes. Disease may also have been a factor but if so then we would expect to find skeletal remains! Flesh and blood is interesting dust, wake is beyond temporal entertainment till dust gets challenge for reality not asleep. Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”

I'm only going to say this because I care about everybody but I just got notified that we have four to eight weeks to get prepared to start storing up water and food I believe in Jesus and I hope you all do too he is coming soon and also I've been informed that there's this ingredient in the oil that they make for diesel trucks and there's several ingredients of course but this one ingredient they don't have any United States so they're going to be shutting all trucks down till 2023 no diesel trucks on the highway in America and I don't think there's going to be a 2023 anyways I mean if there is you know good luck to all of you who don't know Jesus so anyway there won't be any trucks delivering food to anywhere in America there won't be diesel fuel because they will run out because nobody is going to be able to deliver anything so you all get what I'm saying right you have four to eight weeks to prepare because they're also going to shut down the airplanes because they don't have the right ingredient again for the oil and no trains will be on the tracks running and pretty soon that probably tell you oh we don't have any oil for your cars so get prepared for that too and that's just on my end the car part so without planes and trains I would say automobiles on top of that one cuz I heard that old saying trains planes automobiles or houses say automobiles trains and planes something like that but anyway are United States is going to turn upside down after 8 weeks could be sooner but when you don't have any food coming into your city state because there's no trucks to deliver them that tells me also that there won't be any jobs for people to work at because there won't be no restaurants open people will be losing their jobs there won't be any money when there won't be enough food so now you have four to eight weeks to prepare for this because they're saying in 2023 is when they will get that ingredient and so therefore the United States of America is actually going to stop for a while and in Canada they're weat has a very major shortage and western Canada their cows are dropping like flies they're dying I don't know why I don't have to have something to do with God or whatever but the cows are going bye-bye and one more thing and then I will leave you all to yourselves and you won't hear me come back on here and say nothing like this no more it's totally up to you people what you want to do Colorado and Texas is also having problems I'm not quite sure what kind of problems are having but it doesn't sound good from the way they're talking so if you need water and all that stuff because if there's no one to deliver water or no one to deliver anything that means shoes clothes all that stuff no chemicals no nothing so how will they keep your water safe from you drinking it out of the faucet of your house or your apartment doesn't matter where you are how will they keep the water safe so that's why it's important to go out and get plenty of water and you want to do this you probably want to get about 2 years worth of stuff because it'll take him the second year of 2024 to finally open everything back up and get everything running again but in the meantime those of you who are left here cuz I believe the rapture is going to be here any day now so it takes a long time for people to open everything back up and all these trucks back up and running again I mean I don't think it's going to happen maybe in the tribulation when the Antichrist tells everybody hahaha I tricked all of you I'm really the devil and you took the mark of the beast the chip in your hand and the chip in your forehead now you belong to me so not here to scare anybody or anything but basically people are going to be deceived all you have to do is just believe and ask Jesus into your heart believe in him and trust in him believe he rose on the third day like you said he would do and that's it all you have to do is just believe and ask him into your heart oh one more thing you have to repent for your sins at least once so just tell God that you're sorry for everything you ever did and mean it and has to come from your heart once you do that then when he does come here really soon cuz Russia is getting pissed off and he's about ready to send his S500 over to America with 15 missiles on the S500 and they're saying that the S500 can wipe out the whole United Kingdom and that would be Britain that's who the United Kingdom is just in case you didn't know like me I didn't know then teach me anything in school anyway that is the news and I feel that this is really important for people to know so all I can say is God bless everybody and the sooner you get with Jesus you don't have to stay here for the tribulation you can just go with the rest of us so with all my love to all of you just to let you know this is no joke this is real news and I didn't get it off of the TV it came off the articles where these articles are for real they're no joke so I leave it up to all of you to do what you will do but in the meantime I'm going to watch my videos to see where this guy is going next Arizona I think he's got a video sorry to call you a guy I forget things a lot so I don't think I caught your name so I'm really sorry I called you a guy I will get your name somehow I guess or you can be nice enough and tell me what your name is my name is Carla I used to be a cow farmer with my husband many years ago and then he died and I'm left here and I take care of my autistic son he's 26 years old and I'm 53 I'm getting old but I don't feel old I still feel like I'm 25 I still look at you I asked my mother the last time she came to visit me well do I look the same or what do you think she says you look the same and I was like all right cool that means I don't look a day older since the last time she saw me which was about 10 years ago hahaha all right love and blessings to all ❤️💙🤗🤗

Now they're saying that they're going to run out of diesel fuel now so that's another reason now for why the tracks aren't going to be on the highway so it's not just the oil now now they didn't say how long the trucks would run out of diesel that means people who drive regular street vehicles that have diesel gas also but there won't be any diesel did I say gas I'm sorry so I don't know how long but from that sounds of your vehicle that you drive you sound like you drive a diesel van so just keep up on the stuff I get my information from these articles I'll keep you informed when I hear more about this but at least I can say as you have your bike it was a battery on it not many people are going to panic yet about the diesel because this just came out not a lot of people know what's on these articles and some of the stuff they do not put on the news so like I said I'll keep you informed I guess you can go out and get you a few cans and put diesel in it and then you won't have to do some shortage and I'll just be everybody else kind of sad I'm not many people know about this so just so you know if I were you I would go buy a few cans and fill them up with diesel cuz not only is the price of diesel high but now they have a diesel shortage isn't that something wow
