Yeah I had no idea you can go out and find such a nice stuff so easily, we are going back soon!

My boyfriend and I are 19 and one of the things that brought us to be together two years ago was our mutual obsession with rockhounding. Neither of us had ever actually been on a dedicated digging trip until last year when we drove all night to dig in a couple places in N.C. for my graduation trip! Thanks only to your videos, because we'd never have thought it possible for people like us to do, after all, we aren't geologists haha! Now we are planning our second trip from Colorado to Arkansas that is even more intense than the first, and we are watching these videos together in anticipation :) thank you for doing what you do

I just wish I could get a job in the Crystal Collector’s Company. My dreams would come TRUE!!! Coming to America in the beginning of the 1960’s, from my birthplace, West Germany, I was obsessed with digging up some gold. Then, I got a rock polishing set for Hanukkah one year and I made lots and lots of gorgeous gems 💎 - I just wanted to make pretty jewelry for my family and friends, well that was nearly 60 years ago and I’m bitten once again upon viewing the Crystal Collectors’ KZread videos!!! (I want a job doing all that - have you ever watched the, ‘Yukon Gold’, TV series??? They’re always doing well in Alaska! (Great series and addicting!). I just think it’s all AWESOME 🤩!!! The Painted Desert alone was worth the $25 admission to the Petrified Forest.

...and thats why the Indians used it to make points! So beautiful!

Could you believe it: the Devil's Tower, Mount Roraima in Venesuela, and all the great rocky plateaus on our planet are petrified tree trunks from millions years ago...

Been there years ago. It is beautiful. i loved the air.

Really Beautiful colors, I don't know much about petrified wood and have probably walked over some while looking for Native Artifacts but not like this stuff, I don't think I would have missed something so pretty, I've always had tunnel vision while looking for Native Artifacts and not paying much attention to what else is laying around like petrified wood and fossils and such but I'm on the lookout now, Man it's Amazing to me the huge variety of Beautiful Jewels and Artifacts laying around on this planet we share waiting to be found, it's such a joy to get out and explore and treasure hunt especially with Loved Ones, I Love It.

OMG!!!!! I NEED SOME O DAT!!!

I live in Phoenix AZ and do the loop when visitors come. I drive them up to Flagstaff on Day 1 stopping at Montezuma Castle National Monument. Day 2 starts over at Meteor crater and the Petrified Forest National Park ending in Pinetop/Lakeside. Day 3 is the scenic view going back to the valley via the Salt river canyon on hwy 60. That trip never gets old.

Dang! I was just by there a few days ago. I wood have stopped if I knew there was a place to dig 👍✌. Awesome video😊

It’s unlikely you broke that one piece in the beginning. It was probably already cracked in the ground from the land shifting around it. Great finds! This area is my old stomping grounds. 😁👍🏻

Petwood is my favorite rock and being in Texas my favorite is petrified Palm, as that is our state rock. Living in the Big Bend area we have plenty but not all is agatized. A couple weeks back l came across a Nerf Football sized piece of Yellow Palm, been tumbled by nature for millions of years. My largest piece so far. Have found quite a bit of large very colorful chunks of other species too.

I live 67 miles from here dry by all the time when I go to Flagstaff and have been to the places you were at

the pw forest is crazy , i have some slabs of arizona pet wood in my collection , now i need to add some rough chunks after watching this lol

One of my uncles dug up a huge piece of the prettiest most insane rainbow colored petrified wood from there back in the 70s.. he passed away and it went to my dad. ...One day!

I have 3 rocks that are petrified wood. various. Not those bright. As children our parents always too us out to hunt for arrowheads and petrified wood. Lots of awesome fun vations.
