Back to Front - Live in London captures the complete live performance of the So album from start to finish. This spectacular live concert, filmed at London’s O2 over 2 nights in October 2013, using the latest Ultra High Definition 4K technology, captures Peter Gabriel’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of his landmark album So. To mark the event, Gabriel reunited his original So touring band from 1986/87 (David Rhodes, Tony Levin, Manu Katché and David Sancious, with Jennie Abrahamson & Linnea Olsson) and for the very first time fans saw them play the multi-platinum selling album in its entirety. As a bonus Back to Front includes “The Visual Approach” a fascinating feature on the creation of the live show. While the core of the performance is the So album, there is so much more to the concert with unfinished, previously unreleased and re-imagined songs sitting effortlessly alongside classic hits reflecting what a multi-dimensional artist Peter Gabriel is. "Gonna stand on that bridge....keep my EYES down below".... When Peter hit that falsetto note on "eyes", I was very impressed. It's the way the song was originally recorded, but he's aged a little since then!!! Well done, Mr. Gabriel. Both of them, plus the band, sound fantastic.

I think this is either edited or partly auto tuned. You can see and hear it. Great performance nevertheless.

I was 16 years old and in a terrible state of mind in my life and my very great friend, Brian played this song for me, when I was institutionalized in a mental hospital due to depression and trauma. To this day, I think of Brian when I hear this song! Thank you Peter and you Brian! I love you both ❤

Peter Gabriel is a lesson in multi-tasking. I can weep, and I can laugh, and I can groan and growl in deep seated empathy, and then I can sing and I can dance, all at the same time...(mostly... an depending on the song an my flat-mates presence) all at the same time... 38 years? You have a sense of humour, sir. Wasn't it just yesterday? I suppose you want me to grow up and act my age(55)....Naahhh, and Nope, and Not going to happen. I will retreat to my Peter world, it is so much more glorious. He is one of the very, very few people I would like to have a beer, or a cup of tea, with.

A song that will always be timely. Makes me cry every time, so very sad. Incredible vocals here. I haven’t seen Peter live for a while, but he sounds great here. Has been in my top 5 since the early 80s as a solo artist. He never disappoints.

As performed here, this wonderfully comforting and inspiring song is as spine-tinglingly beautiful and moving as the original studio version with Kate Bush on 'So'. Indeed, it is even more so, because it has ripened, deepened and widened with age. Time and time again, since its release in 1986, 'Don't Give Up' has warmly embraced me and many others and uplifted us out of despair. This is a great gift that Peter, thanks to his sensitivity, compassion and talent, has given to humanity.

This will allow the public to notice more easely the remarkable duet this video is all about. Is what I think, at least. This song (the original version) came to me in a moment of need and grief, like a help hand to rise me. Was important once and stay alongside me just the same.
