Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/PeterG...
Back to Front celebrates one of the most pioneering and innovative artists of modern times. The film captures the excitement of a spectacular live performance from London's O2 but it also brings a deeper insight into Peter Gabriel the artist through its use of supplementary interviews.
At the core of the performance is a celebratory run through of the album So, what Gabriel calls his 'pop star moment', but it also features many more of his best-loved songs like Solsbury Hill, Digging in the Dirt, Secret World and Shock the Monkey as well as brand new and even unfinished material.
The film has been directed by BAFTA award winner Hamish Hamilton using the latest 4K Ultra High Definition technology and a 5.1 surround sound mix.

If it wasn’t for the 70’s music scene 80’s music wouldn’t exist as it did, since it was a copy of the 70’s.
I can't conceive of how you'd even go about writing such a complex song with so many varied elements. But the result is evidence of PG's genius.
I still get chocked up, even more now the older I get. “To see the doorway, of a thousand churches” how does a person put those words together? Gives me chills EVERYTIME I hear it, gave me chills typing it! He has written some of the greatest songs ever sung

The Live version of this song has been one of the best music experiences in my life. Peter Gabriel's music and performance is something completely different and creates a lot of fantastic emotions.
I've seen perhaps a half-dozen versions of this song in various live performances and it always brings tears to my eyes. The way Peter includes several people of different cultures who sing in different languages is moving to me, and I think it captures what humanity is all about... or at least, what it should be about. And it's what it has always meant to me. I hate the divisions others impose on us. We are one people, no matter what anyone tries telling us about our differences.

People who make such dumb statements are selfish .. he needs affirmation and attention ..Ok Mike .. you got the attention you so woefully need .. feel better now?
Love how the audience begins to stand at the beginning of this. An affirmation and ovation before the song even begins. This song is such a miracle.

Why Peter did great things with his TIME HERE ... He will only go on to do bigger and better when HE GETS 2 LEAVE 🌀
PG is a genius. I have followed his entire career. When he played Hamilton, I was a university student. I stood fifth or sixth in line overnight on the sidewalk. Say a stay on 13 hours. If you left the line, you left it. And then back to the end of line. A surreal experience. Well worth it! And I was rewarded with great seats Then a great surreal concert. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Peter Gabriel is an uplifting performer.....if your down he brings you up......if your outside he brings you in.....look at the audience.....they are in a dream state......mesmerizing.....

Classic genius, never to be repeated.
This video is 6 years old...that would've made Mr. Gabriel 64 then...I'll give him this...his voice is still there and he still moves with the younger guys...it takes a tremendous toll on one's body to do these shows...even more when you're a "senior" ...cudos to him for that.
That Jenny Abrahamson's voice is so beautiful. Manu - NO words required.

What amazes me is watching this video, the different versions over decades, and Peter still has his voice and even though he's sung this song thousands of times it still sounds fresh, alive, and powerful! this reminds me off my wife of 25 years, after my father passed away i suffered a stroke, took my wife to Mexico for her 50th, returned and suffered more illness, Chronic Kidney Disease. My wife worked so hard to get her Masters Degree, and landed a great job, in my old school of all places, she has now achieved academic and professional recognition of her efforts, and i dont fit into that bubble with her anymore, we only live once, and she has to live her own life, and what makes her happy, and that is not me anymore, i wish you all the best my love xx . i is you badly. writing this ha been therapeutic for me, i sorry to bore you all, this has devastated me.xx

Maybe the most beautiful love song composed and performed by Peter Gabriel with his world-class band, on African rhythms, that's the world music. A particularity of the humanist Peter Gabriel who also works for Amnesty International. I will also mention the exciting and very good solo on the piano by David Sancious. It's really a song for African dance with and all around Peter Gabriel. I will also mention Jennie Abrahamson on vocals/ background vocals. Do you realise that Mister Peter Gabriel is about 70 years old with a surprising energy for singing and dancing. Why? Because - as he told me - "he is totally connected with his music and with his artists".
This mans voice is amazing. Hasn’t changed a bit. Love this song.

One of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, Peter Gabriel did not make musical and lyrical nonsense. His songs have deep meaning as is the case with "In Your Eyes." It is a colorful and joyous journey of acceptance through the eyes of eternal love in a predominantly prejudice world. "To each his/her own." - John E Loeffler
I couldn't love that woman's voice more.

@@petergabriel502 Hello Peter 😮 Nice to meet You
WOW! What a FANTASTIC version!! I wasn't expecting this because I've seen the old versions so many times. I noticed that Peter has dropped the key down a step or two and I'm sure that's because he just can't sing as high as he did when he was much younger. But that's ok! He killed it anyway!
In Your Eyes is my all time favorite song by Peter Gabriel ❤️💜💙🎶🎵🎤🎼
Wow cant believe how good he still sounds... such a powerful track
Every age, color, and creed unified, to hear a great performer and songwriter. That's showmanship. Love this music.
No matter how down life may sometimes bring you, there's always music. But it is from those musicians that we receive a healing ......a wonder at how our ears can actually hear such beauty. We are here for but a few moments in life. Let music be your North Star.
the man's voice seems to get better with age...
This man has been so important to the music industry. His influence is everywhere, still to this day. Thank You, Peter !!
I agree completely. When I was younger I was much more close minded to different music and as a matter of fact I was very close minded to ALOT of sights sounds history people etc etc, I'm so glad I changed my attitude because I'd have missed out on so much. Ty, still listening watching etc etc
Волшебными являются именно те мгновения в жизни,когда создается и рождается музыка. Дай Бог здоровья Питеру Гэбриелу, за все прекрасное,что он делает для людей.
Never gets old. The emotions that shoot through me while listening to this song are incredible! The entire spectrum of human experience. Thank you, Peter Gabriel.
I can’t believe that this song was interrupted midstream with a commercial.
This song feels like a sense of immortality.
It doesn't get any better than this. I saw him a million years ago in Atlanta. To this day it's still the best concert I've ever been to. I cried during this song, the song has a lot of meaning in my life. And just now listening to it again, it will always remain my favorite song.
