For those interested, their company dissolved in 2016, 2 years after this aired. They had a successful crowd-funding campaign right after this aired but their profits were basically non-existent by 2016, likely due to polaroids becoming the dominant physical style of photo for younger people - as well as the fact that their frames don’t offer any uniqueness over other frames.

I think they could have sold 80-90% of the business and worked for Peter. The 20% value would be far more significant under a big company comparing to 100% running it alone. Also that offer should be acceptable by Peter because he’d want them to have more skin in the game opposed to making money for someone else.
@jsequine927

Peter wouldn't have accepted that, he didn't want their company, he wanted their expertise. With 20% they would have then been able to sell to other retailers but Peter wanted the exclusive IP for Jesops

These frames are so old fashioned. They have a 1960s look about them. I think my granny would have liked them.
Yeah, they should have taken Peter's offer. There are businesses that do very similar things already. One in the US prints the pictures on a cloth canvas that comes out looking like a painting. We have a few of those pictures hanging on the wall, taken from an iPad.
Should have gone for Peter's offer, clearly looked like the business will have some competition in the future...

Speechless but very excited underneath...
What ever happened to the frames that took a memory card & displayed your favourite images rather than showing just the single image.. They have been out for years
The biggest mistake I think they made is it is cheap plasticky looking. They should have attacked the premium market and made designs out of marble, porcelain, expensive wood etc
