Touker Battles To Stop Peter "The Bulldozer" Jones | Dragons' Den

Ойын-сауық

Steven Holmes generated £100,000 within three months of trading but still holds down his day job - so why does he need a full-time day job?
Steven entered The Den seeking £60,000 in return for 10% of his business. Soccer Stars creates personalised football comic books for children and solely relies upon licensing from top-tier football clubs. However, The Dragons sense a lack of confidence from the founder... 📖
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Their mindset makes no sense, right?! He's in a well paying job, he has a business idea..he is clearly able to manage this new venture while still doing his day job. What's the problem then? Why is it mandatory that someone must abandon their stability in order to show their confidence in their new business? Flipping idiotic logic from the Dragons.

That's Jenny's whole strategy, though. She doesn't like businesses where she has to commit too much time or effort or sees low returns. She doesn't want to run the business long term; she wants to sell out quickly. I think (and in all fairness I might be very wrong here) Jenny seems to make offers only for those business who know what they do, where they're going, and won't require too much effort on her part. Compare that to Deborah, who seems to not mind having a nurturing role or a slightly long-term investment as much.

i think peter does this for tactical advantage - like make the other dragons not make an offer...but yeah toukers offer was sound - keep his job and have a team run the company for him, whilst he makes tons of cash from tht - peter only got this through his affiliation with tennis....that was the game changer
