not to mention the class in coping with the fact that the guitar player is not looking at him (as he should ) while deciding on how to end the tune

Erskine's solo is strangely epic for being so understated --- beautiful!

As a jazz drummer for over 55 years, I agree completely! Drum solos do not have to be a competition with the other instruments. They should be the perfect ingredient in the soup of the music. I especially like his constant hi-hats and the light touch on the cymbals. The "pulse" of the song penetrates without overpowering. Wonderful job!

Diana’s giggle at the end of the tune was so charming. I do believe Peter was ending the song and Anthony kept going on until Peter brought it to a wonderful end for the second time. Haha 😊

i can't stop listening to the drum solo! Peter's incredible.

Absolutely. Very tasteful and musical player. Somehow he manages to convey the style of the older giants of the instrument.

I can't get over this.....the guitar player is killin it.

actually I think it's a craviotto lake superior timeless timber birch snare. perhaps the 4x14 version Steve Maxwell had.

No, it looks like a Noble 7 Cooley. Erskine played a Yamaha kkit before he went with DW.

Yes up tempo swing .

Anthony Wilson is one of the least cliched guitarists out there. Like Monk & Willie Nelson, he rarely goes where the musically conditioned ear expects him to go. Its' so nice to see a band enjoying each others playing. The whole concert is wonderful.

@Mauroisla Funny you should ask, I looked this up to show a friend how these sound. Its a MONTELEONE. Fucking righteous sound, hand built, customized outta Cali. Guy only makes appointments for $10,000. Can't imagine what the thing costs at the end of it.

Anyone know if he's using the Evans J1 etched heads on this? Those look like Evans Genera, but it's hard to tell...
