    Great to see how you use these in a live context. I have a Space and an h9, so use them in a similar way. Do you find yourself using the Timeline and Möbius much, since you have a huge range of delays and modulations with the h9? Sounding great, thanks!

    Man, that's some great tone at the end! That's the same type of tone I like to use for my cleans, just a hint of gain to give it a bit of break up, and use the volume knob to clean it up more if it gets too hairy. When you get a chance, can you do another pedalboard demo explaining your routing? Thanks Pete, have a great tour!

    I'm looking at the H9 as I am impressed by your choices and tone. That harmonising part sounds like it would have been playable anyway and without the stress of remembering the moment to change from the other setting to a Fifth. I'm sure you had a good reason to use the harmoniser for that. I went for the BNoss DD500 after watching your pedal board updates. It arrived today. Not tried it yet but I am excited about the Midi functionality now as I'm building my pedal board around a Providence switcher. The H9 is still a little expensive although I understand owning 2 units is a wise thing as you can share the library in effect doubling your algorythms. I am hoping for an alternative to pop up, a milti effect unit of similar spec without amp and speaker modelling just designed to go on a pedal board loop. Thnks Peter. Great video and very helpful as always.

    Pete---Timeline Strymon or H9? I've always loved the Strymon stuff, and actually think the Big Sky reverb options sound better IMO, but thinking about the versatility of the H9. Thanks! Love your work man, you are the "EF Hutton" of guitar, when you talk, people listen:) My budget is limited, so it's a big investment, really appreciate your opinion.

    Are both H9's in parallel stereo and hitting a mixer before the return to the heads?// or is the first H9 mono and the last one stereo in line series??In the video it seemed like there was a slight volume drop in your dry signal when you engaged the H9 spring sound so I doubt theres a mixer.Whats the story?-Thank s in advance and you rock as usual!

    Pete I thought that with just one H9 pedal you could create your own pedal board inside of it ..... not sure then why would you use one just for reverb and another just for pitch change when you could have both of those type of effects in one H9. Don´t get me wrong I think you are a REAL EXPERT and I am just a beginner , I just want to know if I´m correct or not, lol

    Pete, why shift a volume pedal for intervals with pitch shift. I know several units that you can customize each note in the scale with a custom pitch. Just play with no grief. Most Eventide rack units, Boss GT 100, and Axe FX will do this.. Love all your videos. Have a good day.

  • @PeteThorn

    @PeteThorn

    9 жыл бұрын

    yes but see i need sometimes when I hit a C for the harmony interval to be a 3rd and sometimes I need it to be a 5th! Make sense? So a custom programmable scale wouldn't be adequate. This expression pedal method works great when you need to have the harmonizer deliver a different interval on certain notes.

    If that's the same Suhr Classic S that he's had for a while, I think it is their "Cactus Green" Edit: btw - The colors listed on the site don't really represent the look under natural lighting very well. The color on the Suhr site looks a lot brighter, but it truly is much darker (and a bit greener) under more natural lighting.

    I have the same pitchshifter and is quite good. This kind of effect works best if you put a bit of compression before them and a bit of overdrive after them. Playing with precission helps a lot too. Pete is a master both at playing and getting gorgeous tones. :)
