    haha I have the opposite problem, my boyfriend is weirded out by my snails and isopods (but he generally doesn't care as long as I don't make him touch any :P) (but I'm nonbinary, not a girl)

    Charles Martin honestly I just buy freeze dried minnows marketed as cat treats. They work great! Just make sure you aren’t buying salted fish. Most of them aren’t and are just freeze dried which is what you want. Thanks for watching/warm regards!

    Awesome video! I’m just getting into the hobby so I really don’t have a favorite. Vids like this really help to identify species I like. I must say Porcellio is my favorite genus at this point. I have a culture of P. ornatus yellow dot that is a blast!

    I have to admit, I never thought I would get SO into isopods! I currently have the Orange, Dairy Cow and Powder Blues. Where did you get the fish? I have been giving mine some fruits, but other than that, I haven't found much to feed them! Any thoughts?

    Nice vid. I like Armadillidium species best, like the zebras or montenegros. It would be interesting to see how your isopods feed on the fish and how these disappear over time in fast motion and what is left in the end.

    On the Albinos- The "T" stands for tyrosinase, (negative in this morph). For "T-" no dark pigments and eyes are light colored. They remain light yellow throughout their lives. "T+" albino,'s colors darken with age.

    my absolute favorites (and my first isopods) are cubaris murina (I love their little faces and orange butts lol) I caught several different native/local isopods today so I'm up to 4-5 types now.... and I promised I would only go to 3 while I live in my small apartment! I already have hundreds of snails! haha oops

    Are you spraying them with tap water or destilled one? Or other type? I'm worried that chlorine could kill my future isopods and calcium is going to stay on my glass tank...

    I would suggest Powder blues. They actually do okay living on sand if they have a moist getaway.
