I don't have the time and space to mess with your computers and get in that state of Zen relaxation, but your video was a good substitute. I feel calmer already!

It was released in limited numbers in Canada in May/June 1976. That's when my dad drove up there and bought the one I still have.

I remember when computers only could do art on the screen by using character rom! good job fixing that drive!

The Sphere 1 was available in 1975. If your definition of personal computer means having a video display, keyboard, and BASIC in ROM, this is the first PC. BYTE magazine considered it the first PC. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_1

This is the Second consumer PC available. the first was the KIM-1 also invented by Chuck Peddle. Chuck is the "Father" of personnel computers, fan boys try to give that price to Apple all the time but that is not even close to true. The timeline is clear chuck beat everyone to market and he beat them by price. RIP Chuck

Yes, there is a funny chapter in the book Commodore a company on the.. were they try to get the 2001 to work for a show. They end up with a small problem, the image was upside-down on the screen. They solved it and could show the machine.
