My country has a full ban on all lgbt related things. Guess who doesn`t have prosperous society and begged for wool mittens and socks when winter came after they picked a fight with tiny country? Prosperity of society depends on ecology, medicine, education, economy and politics. Their quality and how good they work. If either of those is in shambles then no laws against tiny group of peoples will save you.

How many "men" do you know that have been on estrogen for well over a year? Also transgender women that compete in women sports have also lost to cis gender women. Just because someone is a transgender woman does not guarantee a victory.

I'm a man and a fairly strong swimmer like I could swim 1 hour straight easy, one time I skipped a competition and I'm lucky I did cos a woman won and she swam for like 24 hours or something like that. The problem with this stuff is it's also based on appearance because I can't be like "Hey I identify as a woman let me use their bathroom because ours is full". What you identify as is not set in stone so why can't I identify as a woman when I need to use the bathroom and ours is full? It's not fair.

Understand no amount of body modifications or improper hormone injections can change human genetics. It's called simple science. Then, after you learn this ,understand it, and then acceptance will come naturally.

Peru got the right mindset

As a Peruvian, this decision by our government doesn't surprise me. Peru is a very Catholic and conservative country. We don't have many transgender people here, abortion is looked down upon by society, etc. My thoughts on this topic are that if you are gay or lesbian, fine (I mean whatever), but if you want to become something that you naturally aren't, then we have some problems. Who in their right mind would want their genitals to be amputated? And it's even worse if you want it to become a right. Where's the common sense there? P.S Sorry for my English btw, I'm just learning :)
