People are angry because they rather see black women degraded and dragged. The reality is we set trends, ideas, invent. But we dont get credit or notoriety until another race comes along and do the same thing. Now sit back and watch how women as a whole will now want to put more effort into their men.

Exactly, the only people who are taking issue with the black wife effect are black men who swore that black women weren't good enough to be wives in the first place. Yet this trend shows them being loving, supportive wives who improve the looks and confidence of the men they marry.

I find that many black women have more genuine confidence and that's a trait that leads to integrity because they're not easily swayed by people who might try to lead them away from their paths and goals. Guys who act immature and dress like a sloppy teenager do so because they have dated women who let them get away with that. They're worried that if they say anything about his style or how he's acting then they'd lose him. A truly confident and strong woman would let him walk. If he's truly willing to grow up and be a man, he'd do the hard work to raise up to her level.

You can love a 'white man' and not demonize black men in the process. There are white men who want nothing to do with black women and can even cause physical harm... thinking of the Breonna Taylor situation or when a white police officer threw a black bikini-clad girl to the ground in McKinney, TX in 2015. Wasn't any "black girl magic" in that moment. Same with Sandra Bland's treatment after a traffic stop, etc........

Who funded these rappers? Who is constantly online telling us how low iq we are? You don't think they're smart enough to brainwash us too? Dont be naive... i don't agree with the treatment but y'all need to take accountability that the more skin you show the less valuable you become as a whole. I see black women everyday old and young showing whorish behavior and black men telling them that behavior is lame. I also see black women make excuses for thugs saying "he's fine he didn't do it" letting their daughters twerk. Do you not think that has an affect on your image as a whole? When I see a recent graduate from college I'm like "cool" then in the same video she's got a face full of make up, 9inch nails, and weave on top of shaking that ass because she's is excited... all this on the internet. I agree black men need to cut the drugs and alcohol out but don't think these other guys are truly understanding of who you are. Don't think they'll accept that behavior from you either. Men are men right? Might want to ask "Becky" about her experiences and why they're not into their own men right now.

Back home in Africa, mothers tell young women "your husband is your first child", so you have to mother him in a certain way and it becomes natural, spontaneous as if anchored in us. Just as we are told "you have to suffer to be beautiful", because you have to wear braids, so naturally the black woman is flirtatious and attaches great importance to her external appearance "you don't leave the house without wash yourself, brush your teeth, uncombed hair etc", naturally you will impact your partner "if he shines, I shine". Watch how Meghan transformed Prince Harry into a stylish, respectable man and a better version of himself. same for Barac obama etc...
