This is my second account because i lost the one i made the comment with, but so far it worked, i started doing real estate and now i own 125 properties , im making about 10 to 12 million a year. Persuasion is key , sales and efforts.

I'm not sure if this is a British thing, but many of us have this scepticism and prejudice against people like this and meet them with resistance from the outset. As soon as I see any indications of someone trying to persuade me into something I become very aware of their trickery and take a dislike to them. Whereas I'm more likely to drop my guard with someone more passive. I also have to wonder about "buyer's remorse". It's one thing being able to persuade/trick/pressure someone into a spur of the moment decision, especially if you're an assertive person, but on reflection they will often go back on their decision. I tried asking girls out in the way you mentioned here as it was often recommended in the pick up community, but I found many of these girls changed their minds and I got just as many dates by asking a girl "Do you fancy going for a drink?"

i joined a door to door company thinking they were going to have a great training programme but in the end it wasnt really great. whenever i tried using the yes thing they would shoot back with dont ask yes or no questions, which is difficult because we had to figure out our own questions. luckily i never did most of the talking during my sales. most of the time after my 10 second intro/pitch, i went straight into questioning and was able to identify problems which people may have that could solve. from my experience, if i could have their attention for longer than a minute then i had the sale. what i didnt like was that our target customers were poor and our products were expensive and many of these customers knew where to find the stuff we sold for sometimes a tenth of the price on ebay.
