Being honest, Im sure thats the reason they can't make FEMC more important, and I dislike they did not even censored it on the port of portable

Well, Junpei is a much better person than what he started off as, thanks to Chidori. I'm glad his relationship with Minako/Kotone is only platonic.

Can't blame Junpei. He just lost the love of his life, obviously he doesn't want a relationship with someone else, besides that FemC is also going to die

@@andersonrayregalia8378 while true that Chidori can come back, from what I know that can only happen if you’re playing as the Male MC. That was what happened in FES, at least, and there don’t seem to be any options in the femc route in portable to do the same thing.

@@lyzder7298 I didn’t see the dialogue for Junpei while playing as femc on portable for my second playthrough. Maybe I just messed up the dates. But about Chidori in Arena, while they never explicitly say she’s alive, the way Junpei talks means its likely she is

I'll dance around for S-Link spoiler reasons where it relates to P3 Reload, but I think that plotline around Elizabeth where it relates to The Answer might still be in play (We'll see when Episode: Aigis drops in September) Presumably something similar is at play with Theodore in Kotone's timeline so...maybe there's a happy ending somewhere... (Not that kind of happy ending, although the dialogue does leaves open conviently...)

Not to get conspiratorial where it relates to Reload, but I think a certain plotline where it relates to a certain door is still in play. Presumably this is in play with Kotone's story with Theodore as it is with Elizabeth and Makoto. Not for nothing, the dialogue leaves it open here. I think it's even more open in the Kotone manga that her and Junpei can be an item, so maybe love can still blossom!

so I wanted to see if the "you rfeelings" typo was fixed in the Switch port but it seems like the game skips the rejection if you're not maxed with Junpei before this event. Like the option to say "Friends? Not lovers...?" doesn't even show up.

Man that's such a letdown. But at the same time I do really love their relationship.

Maya and Tatsuya are still my number 1 characters but Junpei comes right after above everyone else, what a great guy.

Goddamn Vic Mignogna is so good. He sounds so natural with every emotion. Happiness tinged with sorrow, mixed with thoughtfully not wanting to let someone down, and even a bit of levity. It's all present. He really elavates his material, and that material is really good to begin with. Even though FeMC isn't canon, this is still a quality scene in isolation, regardless. His conveyance is so good you can practically see his body language.

@@CMW1995 Alternative route are called ALTERNATIVE for a reason. They are suppose to not interfere with the main route. Dating Junpei goes against the story set for him and that is something Atlus rightfully decided to not change and more importantly cut the option all together because how much his relationship with Chidori really matters to him. No, Canon never stopped from imagining things. If you want imagine to Femc dating Junpei, more power to you. @S0phie3 clearly isn't doing that. They complaining about the fact Femc can CANONICLY date Ken. If you think I have a problem with wanting Femc to date Junpei, I don't. I do however have problem with people wanting Junpei on the date pool simply because they don't like Ken as an option while completely forgetting that Junpei CANONICLY gets a girlfriend.

@@HYDEinallcaps How? I can still like Junpei as a potential LI without getting in the way of his other LI. Also Akihiko is boring to me, so was Shinjiro. I'm not going for the Ken route either. I also like Ryoji and Theodore and they are nice and valid options. I don't see how I can't imagine what could've been nice BFF to lovers route. It's not like imagining an alternate scenario with them together is not gonna change the canon with Chidori and Junpei. Imagination is free after all
