    THANK YOU! I’m in the Army, so running is a requirement for my job. I’ve been searching for years for how to get into these odd muscles and try to help my ankles and calves out. These stretches were exactly what I’ve been looking for- I feel so relieved to know that i can improve my run time now that I have a way to alleviate pain. Thank you for giving such valuable information away for free!

    Hello and thank you for engaging with the content. It's important to note that I can't offer tailored medical advice without a comprehensive physical examination. I highly recommend consulting with a healthcare professional in your locality for an assessment tailored to your unique situation, particularly given your mention of a weakened ankle. Feel free to share this video with them as a point of discussion.

    In the first exercise - does the foot have to be up on the knee of the other leg in order to stretch the tendon properly? I have great difficulty getting mine to cooperate.

    Ive got JIA and am unable to bend all that way but that myofascial is so tight and causing more pain than the actual jia any ideas?

  • @kinetichealthonline

    @kinetichealthonline

    Hello, Thank you for sharing your situation with JIA and the associated myofascial tightness. I must stress that, without a complete physical examination, I cannot provide specific medical advice for your condition. It is paramount that you consult with a healthcare provider in your area who has expertise in juvenile arthritis and myofascial treatment. They will be able to offer personalized recommendations tailored to your unique situation. That being said, I can offer some general ideas that might be of interest, but please discuss these with a medical practitioner before proceeding: Gentle Stretching: After discussing with a healthcare provider, you might explore soft and controlled stretches, possibly guided by a physical therapist, to alleviate some of the tightness. Heat Therapy: Applying warm compresses may be beneficial in relaxing myofascial tissues, but this too should be under the advice of a healthcare provider. Specialized Care: If your local practitioner approves, exploring specialized myofascial release techniques could be an avenue for further care. I understand the frustration and discomfort you must be experiencing, and I truly wish I could assist you more directly. Please prioritize seeking professional medical care, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have further questions or need additional resources.

    @kinetichealthonline thank you for the reply, I will be going to physical therapy after my upcoming Synovectomy and hopefully they will be able to assist further. That tends be the main pain source on the front of the leg with it being extremely tight and pulling after sitting for longer periods of time with the legs bent, such as during work. Take care and thank you again for the response!

    If you have peroneal tendonitis can that cause a bakers cyst? Will these exercises help the tendonitis?

  • @kinetichealthonline

    @kinetichealthonline

    6 ай бұрын

    "Thank you for your comment, @gypsygarner2413. While I can't offer specific medical advice without a full examination, peroneal tendonitis and Baker's cysts are generally unrelated conditions, as they affect different areas of the leg. However, both involve inflammation and discomfort. The exercises on this channel are designed to support overall lower limb health, which may indirectly benefit conditions like tendonitis through strengthening and flexibility. For a Baker's cyst, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for a tailored approach. Wishing you the best in your recovery journey."
