Met Bryan at a local knife meet a few weeks ago here in Minnesota. He's for sure my favorite knifemaker and I almost shit my pants when someone told me he was there, got to try out the B3 and a bunch of other prototypes he brought. Really cool guy and I absolutely plan on getting every knife of his I can get my grubby little hands on.😂

Does anyone know if you can customize the giopivot and lock buttons? I really want the magnacut carbon fiber version, but I am not the biggest fan of the lime green accents.

I’ve been interested in getting one of these from the beginning. Being that I’m a machinist, the magnets concern me. Of course I’d never take it to work tho. Hmmmm

I believe the damascus version is a 9CR type blend and not actual Damasteel. I think Bryan mentioned that in some comments on instagram. I could be wrong. But since it’s not actual Damasteel branded damascus, that should keep the price down. And the damascus blade is only on the black version. Do your own research people, take everything with a grain of salt in case I am wrong. But I’m fairly sure that’s what Bryan said in many responses. Hope that helps.

Yes, you’re right. Bryan alerted me to this right after my upload. I haven’t seen the Damascus in person, and from pics, it looked like Damasteel. Bad guess on my part!

@@jvac138 9cr18mov is a Chinese made steel which is pretty good at keeping an edge and also good stainless properties as well. It’s a generic, lesser expensive steel that performs pretty well. I don’t know how much the properties change in Damascus form though, and what other steels may be in the matrix that could affect performance.

would he consider making the G10 Deployment into Titanium and Steel (against the blade)? I'm thinking it could make a nice acoustic on contact. plus being more sturdy than G10.

The Factor B3's will come in two configurations - either with a carbon fiber flip lever (the one shown in this video is black G10, but in production they'll all be carbon fiber), or with a fixed backspacer that fills the notch (also carbon fiber)... If you're a fidgeter like me you'd probably prefer the flip lever configuration, but for those who prefer a more "normal" knife with a little better ergos, the solid backspacer configuration is a really good option - it almost feels like a different knife. ...The carbon fiber flip lever offers less friction and lightens things up a bit vs titanium.. ..Cheers! :)

thinking that I have no reason whatsoever to buy another Factor, while simultaneously placing a calendar reminder on Outlook for the release of v3.

I wonder if you can customize them or if itll be a set amount of color combinations i may email him and see i came in the game late for the b2 and just figured out about them a month or two ago and bought one off ebay for alot but anyways im not missing out on this one

YT Vertigo stretches and boom gone. Not to be rude but it’s easily treatable and silly to deal with the intense wave that goes across the brain and then fight the dizziness.

I wish they helped. Mine isn’t from inner ear problems, it’s cervicogenic vertigo. I’ve tried a few stretches that I’ve seen but it doesn’t change anything unfortunately. I have multiple degenerative discs and multiple exposed/pinched nerves, so it’s pain everyday, reduced mobility in my neck and loss of feeling in my arms and hands. Sometimes my hands will actually lose strength and even drop things I’m holding. Tons of fun daily.

@@JimSkeltonKnives Believe me or don’t but if you do the stretches where you pull your neck to the left and to the right along with sleeping with your hands below your head, it will be a tremendous help. We all have degenerative discs at some point in our life and very typical at your age and many with spinal stenosis or exposed nerves. Stretches, resistance bands and hands down will cure what ails you.

I'd love to handle one of these. Surely it's no good if your in the construction industry? All I can imagine is every piece of iron sticking to it. It's probably ok if you're an office worker...

The purple ti isn’t on the preorder list. In fact nothing on the preorder list has the milling or contouring yours does. Are the pics of version 2 and still need to be updated or is yours special? Super curious because that purple might be my favorite color and the knife you displayed might’ve immediately become my holy grail knife
