“Sounds like you need a way to predict the past. I feel uncanny because this is not just a unnatural talk but actually a talk that doesn't feels scripted, but actually a real human talk, we got so used to see in movies and media such well made talks that they feel fake. It makes sense, in a way. It’s like someone perfectly managed to describe sitting in an empty game at the end of the world with the map barren but still having everything on it. Like you’re sitting on a summer’s day with a friend, talking, and nobody’s there but it’s still comfortable. Everything fills itself in.
I love how these scenes are like poetry. There is very little tangible information but there are so many feelings. I love how they are structured as conversations between friends, because debating what "down the road" is or if the cars are coming or going is something I could see myself doing with my buds. And then there are also just little vibes like "I've never learned to go up" that just hit sort of different. I love Bill Wurtz, man, I've never seen anyone with talent like his

That's actually just how memory works. Every time we "play back" a memory in our mind, we unintentionally alter it slightly, and that version sticks. I'm no expert on this but it's probably more evident with dreams since they don't conform to what we expect from the real world, anyways.
This... is probably an (almost) perfect representation of how my dreams work. Absolute nonsensical dialogues, wacky stuff. I think this is actually perfect.

They sound like they have emotion, they have minds, they don't sound like emotionless robots despite the fact they look like that, they gave personalities, a short can be a show, a show can be a movie, a movie can be movies, all without character without face emotions but voice emotions. This feels both comforting and familiar but also entirely incomprehensible-like trying to remember a dream, or having a dream made up of jumbled memories. There’s something profound to how the two individuals interact with the world and with each other-despite all of their questions and circular conversations, they still think their reality is perfect, and I wonder if it has to do with the fact that they’re together. Their reality only really has cohesion because they’re able to interact with one another, but it only has meaning because we, the audience, can watch it
This is what it feels like to come out of anesthesia and make sense of anything.

This feels like dreams I had before where they seem to have meaning but then it gets so weird that the meaning gets lost. That's not bad though. I love this guy's animations

Discarding meaning is like one of my favorite things ever
This style feels so unreal, I like it.
1:07 Is that woodblock sound like a "ba-dum tss"?
It genuinely feels like all of the inside jokes of 2 best friends that you're hearing from the outside
This video is the model for autistic relationships
I love how the sound of the street cleaner is just "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" and the sound of all the cars on the other street is just "whoosssssshhhhhhhhhhh".
these last animations have got to be some of my fav content on this channel besides the documentaries, keep it up!

@@twentytwoedits2442 mostly because Llamas with Hats was a short series of related yet kind of random animations with two interacting characters. Granted, no one would call Bill Wurtz's content dark like they would llamas with hats, but a series of these strange conversations wouldn't be too different from that. All that to say, I would love to see a bill wurtz animated series.
“Surewhere? I mean sure, Where?” Was kinda cute and wholesome :P
i never knew i needed 2 people attempting to have an intellectual conversation about cars
Bill wurtz animation is so amazing because of how random it is. He doesn’t consistently make videos that clearly states what he is making the video about and is able to make something so incredibly random worth watching

yeah, the fine balance between random enough to be unexpected at every point, yet cohesive enough that you can't just look away withou the feeling of missing something Bill hits that weird fine line most of the time in a way that only he seems to be able to
3:18 something about him going under the sign has me in hysterics
Bill wurtz's videos are like the dreams I have after drinking too much Benadryl and then sleeping for 14.2353 hours
Basically most dreams in a nutshell

It's been my experience that going down is easiest, and sideways can be fine too, but up is generally difficult.

I love Bill Wurtz’s style, it feels like a daydream, yet it is weirdly comforting
This is literally like an unscripted conversation
This just feels like a stream of consciousness. A flow of thoughts. Looping via uncomfortable hard angular turns.
