If you really waving you only want to use silk material. Whichever fabric/material you put onto your hair, it will take the exact form of that fabric/material. I wouldn't use this material to get waves. But, to hold waves in place if your working out, playing sports or outside in the heat. Best method for extra compression I suggest would be a silky and stocking cap over it. 🌊💯

Young brothas listen up!!!!!!!! I've been a barber for almost 30yrs, and I'm about to give you some straight GEMS that will take your wave game to the next level, and save you from balding!!!!!! **STEP 1: Wash your hair in Luke warm water. DO NOT USE HOT WATER!!!!!! Reason being, hot water blows the hair follicle wide open, and also accelerates balding. Wash your hair twice (back to back while you are in the shower). **STEP 2: Apply conditioner. Use a nice amount. Use a medium brush to brush it thru, then put on a plastic cap and let that sit while you wash the rest of your body. **STEP 3: MIST IMPORTANT TIP!! When you are ready to rinse out the conditioner, turn the water to cool, cool as you can stand it. Rinse completely out. **STEP 4: When drying your hair, use the towel and aggressively dry your hair against the grain in circles. While your hair is still moist (not wet), apply your wave products. Massage into the scalp against the grain in circles. Take a medium to hard brush and brush as normal. Now, DO NOT overbrush. Brushing your hair too much leads to something called "Traction Alopecia" . The repetitive pulling or brushing in one direction. This is why you see some older wavers going bald in their crown. On e you have applied your products and brushed, out on wave cap and you are done. Remember key points :, *NEVER USE HOT WATER *RINSE CONDITIONER OUT WITH COOL WATER *DONT OVERBRUSH Trust me, you follow these directions, your waves will be spinning!!!!!! Any questions, hit me up
