Peregrines are bar none my favorite bird. I love all birds of prey-- owls, eagles, hawks, kites, falcons, buzzards, all of them-- but something about falcons, especially peregrines, just makes my heart sing. She's gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. I live near SLC and I'm hoping that maybe one day, when construction is done, I can visit in person. Until then please tell her (and Helen, and Belle, and Scout, and everyone) that she's amazing and a random lady on the internet loves her.

So interesting, & to see her up close for so long is such a pleasure. They're all sharp knife-like angles. And she's such a sweetheart! Can't wait to see how she progresses. We had a horse man who lived a few miles down the road and there was nothing he liked better than getting the barely trained 2 yr olds, however spooked and skinny they were, then turning them into the happy gleaming beauties they really are. You do the same. She's already showing her happy beauty.

I find the training process a relaxing experience in this long format video. Thank you for sharing this experience.

I saw a post on FB tonight about 3 baby peregrines that either fell or jumped out of their nest box. Apparently the reason might have been because of black flies. They have a way to monitor where they are but are watching for a parent to find them, that they may feed them and move them away from that area. I’m praying they made it and are being taken care of by a parent or the rescue.❤️

Is everything okay? It's been awhile without hearing from you and we're getting 😟 concerned ... hope all's well.

The story I have for you has nothing to do with this particular video, more with the work that you do. Short version: Your work saved the lives of two very little birds, because you basically showed me to how to do it. Long version: I live in a small rental in Vienna, lots of green there, with a common attic. And as I took my dry clothes down, I noticed bird noise. So what, I thought, there are a _lot_ of peepers around these parts. Then I realized the noise did not come from outside: Two “tits” (I think both _parus major)_ had gotten _inside_ our attic somehow. And, without an exit open to them to escape, they would surely die of thirst and hunger, they seemed to be exhausted already. Many years ago, I had found an old foldable fishing net and had kept it. I am not in the habit of finding things in my home, but I found this net within seconds, got some work-gloves, returned to the attic immediately, and … basically did the same I have seen Mr. Tyner do so many times, albeit with a much smaller and much less dangerous bird: I managed to get the first little bird with the net, gave the net a quick 180° turn to prevent the peeper from getting away, and rushed down the stairs, outside, a few hundred meters away (to prevent birdie from returning to the trap it had gotten itself into) and to the nearest well stocked bird feeder, where birdie could eat, drink, rest and be safe. After that, I returned and got number two, who screamed in anguish when I got it, but so be it. On the way to the release-point I did not forget to scold it for being a stupid little bird that had no business being in our attic, and released it into the same bird house I had released the other one into just minutes ago - of which there was no trace of, which is a good sign - it must have flown away already. Also, I will go check the attic for any holes in the roof during the next days. My. Tyner, I have never handled wild birds in my life before. But I remembered your technique with the net, remembered to protect my hands, remembered to handle wild animals as little as possible,… and thus, two little birds, one after the other, got freed from an old houses attic, within minutes. Thank you for your work! You are indeed a great person!

I have a question that I have been wondering about and have never seen an answer to. When you have your birds down on the basement like that like I'm going to how many hours of light do they need??? Should I put my timer the same as daylight hours?

I thought the flying objects well, there are some of birds white stuff flying around, but Marvin you have Ghostly Orbs in your video. 9:30 18:52, 19:23 and some other. There are bird's feather particles flying around, so it looked confusing. But, you will see the difference when you stop the video for a second. You are in Utah which is very close to the spiritual ground anyway and you are very spiritual person. They are cheering your work.

Was she removed from the breeder’s place for some reasons?

Go back to some of the older videos. The breeder had a major medical issue. Helen and her parents are a breeding pair, and they already found a new home for the parents elsewhere.

What are the chances Helen could see with corrective lenses fixed into a hood? Even if it was just to flap around in a chamber on occasion
