Yes, Roadrunners can differentiate people they know and trust from people they don't know. I've read that it's not good to feed them raw hamburger. I feed them dried mealworms, like buy in big bags for their chickens.

My favorite bird, the roadrunner. I had 2 roadrunners that I was feeding, the male hasn't showed up in a week after coming everyday. I'm worried about him, the female(his mate) still comes everyday and I name them both of them and talked to them all the time, well now just her. I hope in winter when food is hard to get the male comes back, I miss him, he was a good pet, very friendly, and he took food from my hand.

They’re so cuuuuuuuuute!
Probably a teenage gang checking your crib out, they are so curious by nature. Great birds, keeps the pest animals down.
We had a road runner constantly showing up to this place I used to work at. She kept trying to build nests in the engine bays of the semi trucks we used, we had to keep removing the nests because if someone started the truck up with her in it she’d most likely be killed. Eventually she got the message and made her nest in a nearby bush
I have been feeding roadrunners for about 4 years now. (raw hamburger) There are different ones each year, I think. They are so smart! They will look in the window at me to get my attention. Creepy! When I look at them they look so mean, so yes I am thinking dinosaur birds too. My bird only likes me. If anyone else is around he/she leaves. One has walked in my front door before. And he likes serloin the best. When I buy cheap burger, he only eats one and leaves. ha ha ha ha

Yes, Roadrunners can differentiate people they know and trust from people they don't know. I've read that it's not good to feed them raw hamburger. I feed them dried mealworms, like buy in big bags for their chickens.

That’s really neat that the roadrunners all know and trust you. Try giving them thawed, frozen mice instead of the hamburger. This is closer to something they would catch and eat in the wild.

@@psychiatry-is-eugenics Up close, their beaks look heavy and brutal, too. I wouldn't want to be a lizard in a roadrunner's territory.
good to see the descendants of the little velociraptor alive and well
i love these little birds they just caught the zoomies and live with it in style
Wow! I've never seen so many Roadrunners in one location before. You and your house are truly blessed. Are you a Disney Princess living in the desert?
Cute. Wish I could have visits with them.
You're a Good Human. 500 air-hug points awarded
I love their energy. Little dinosaurs!

@@antonios7353 No he never came back after the July fireworks The mate was coming for about 6 months and found another mate she never brought her mate by and they both disappeared for good. I hope they didn't get eaten by the hawk that was watching me feed them. I felt like a kid, I name them and felt horrible after they stop coming by. I have been hearing the mate call lately, I doubt that it was them. Thanks for asking. They were so cute to me.

They are now both gone, they don't come anymore. I hope they are still alive. I was so attached to both of them. I haven't seen any roadrunners this year but I hear them near by.

That's our house, except parrots and a duck. But all the climbing around and snooping...yes 😂
What a lot of hissing, flapping fun! Seriously, I am jealous. Miniature Velociraptors spring to mind.
“Roadrunner, this guy is after you, Roadrunner, if he catches you you’re through!” Aloha
Velociraptors in your house XD
Such beautiful and intelligent birds! What a joy!
Beep!!! Beep!!!, fascinating, I had no idea they could fly!! Thanks for the nature lesson 💜💜 sweet birds not one poop!!💜💜
Beautiful birds! 💜
They're like the raptors on jurassic park, but cuter.

funny thing is, many of the dinos on Jurassic Park probably looked more like roadrunners than however they looked in the movies, esp. velociraptor (which had feathers and a long tail like a roadrunner)
I thought they were really hard to find and very shy, but I guess they're not very shy at all and not hard to find you got six of them in your kitchen. you should go to the pet shop and invest in some mealworms for them so next time they come to visit you'll have a snack for them and get them a bowl of water. Very cool😎😀😁
I love the way they flip their tails in the air like an antenna. Some of those are fledglings I believe 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖💖
They were deffinetly fun little friends!
ive never even had one roadrunner in my kitchen
I love how they contain 90% of their personalities in their tails.
I had two of them visit my front yard the other day. They really live up to their name!!
