I live in southern Arizona, and film wildlife as a hobby. Doing it at this level requires talent for sure, but also lots of time and money. This is a team effort, and the BBC nature doc team is likely the best in the world . . . and then there's David Attenborough!

It's understandable to feel disappointed when childhood fantasies don't match up with reality. However, the real-life roadrunner may not be as exaggerated as its cartoon counterpart, but it still possesses impressive speed and agility. The beauty of nature lies in its ability to surprise and captivate us in unexpected ways.

I grew up in Texas and roadrunners were a fairly common sight but always a treat to watch. They can fly but strongly prefer to run, and they are good at it. Birds are, as he said, descendants of dinosaurs, but certain species make it easy to imagine those dinosaurian ancestors moving about their living world before the end-Cretaceous extinction. Cassowaries, with their size and killing claws, and roadrunners, with their effortless running pace, alert search for prey, graceful leaps, and that long, balancing tail.

This isn’t only found in the deserts of North America we have road runners in East Texas and we are far from desert land with all the tall pine trees , oak trees etc and green grass we have no way we are considered a desert

Their eyes look so cool. Also interesting that they have zygodactyl feet similar to a parrot or a woodpecker.

That's some cool gimbal work by the videographer. He must be a pretty good road runner himself to run alongside the bird like that. P.S. - is anyone else thinking of Bugs Bunny and the Roadrunner? Only Wile E. Coyote was missing.

Cet oiseau coureur est vraiment une très grande star, il y'a des milliers de vidéos de lui, je suggère qu' il soit inscrit au registre du guinnes des records à cet effet.
