Geckos Lining Up to Eat From Our Hands

This is the culmination of one of my behavior modification experiments with geckos. Certainly was successful! Geckos not only eating from our hands but lining up for a chance to do so. Cute little critters! I love the part where one of them does pull-ups on the bowl so it can reach some mango.

nah it definitely did occur. I was a kid about 14 or 15 and it was the summer of 1998 or 1999. i recall that there were wild fires that people suspected of being started by a bunch of kids at the time. I even recall the house it happened in. it was in the san Carlos area of Fort Myers; Florida. Which already isn't a great neighborhood. The home in which it occurred was across from a golf course, which had a known lizard infestation. my aunt's home is low to the ground, and in a known poor district. so her window was broken and left open. they run around her house late at night all the time. among other "invaders" including mice, rats and what she calls palmetto bugs. @@KantiKane the place wasn't in the best condition either so who knows what else was actually probably on me. they were attracted to the heat of my body, but for all i know they could have also been attracted to delicious bugs. who knows. all i know is that after that night i never slept in her house again. i slept in the car until the vacation was over. mostly because of what she said about the spider pals in the yard.

I love seeing content like this. We have bearded dragons and we get crickets and keep them in a little cricket container. Well when the crickets start to die, what we do is we take the container outside and dump the crickets out. We did this for months without thought. One day we walked outside and all the little anoles came running out and literally sat at our feet and waited for us to dump the crickets. Apparently they had been watching us do this for months and realize when we came out with the container they got free food!

LOVE Gecko's - Have traditional Cook Island tattau on my back of two (one eyes open, one eyes closed for 24 hour protection) There, they grow to about 12" and just love to sit (and shcit) on your body. You can pet them after a while. LOVE IT!!!!
