In the relentless pursuit of peak performance, athletes are constantly exploring new frontiers.
Welcome to Episode 7 of "No Stone Unturned," where we unravel the microscopic world of peptides and their profound impact on human performance.
As we dive into this episode, we peel back the layers of these small yet mighty compounds, uncovering their roles as the silent conductors of human potential. From enhancing endurance to accelerating recovery, peptides are emerging as game-changers in the world of sports. Join us on a journey through the science, the breakthroughs, and the untold stories behind these miniature powerhouses.
At the end of each video, I'm going to provide a score based on three crucial aspects: Personal Enjoyment, The Scientific Evidence, and The Practicality for the Average Athlete. You'll be able to compare it to the other dimensions of this series. And hopefully, at the end, you'll get some practical takeaways to improve your training.

Zero side effects. It brought me out of my depression from not being able to do anything and the increased sleep made my testosterone jump 134 points. (i’m 24) I swear by this.

I'm 3 weeks into BPC157 and TB500 and the impact they've had on an issue I've been having with my knee have been phenomenal. Beforehand I was unable to even bodyweight squat following an injury sustained in the run up to a competition, and just yesterday I was able to box squat 60kg. This is huge for me after the last 12 months or so. Fingers crossed rehab and recovery continue this well, and hopefully there are no unforeseen issues with these compounds that come to light in future 😅 Thanks for this video, Mitch, echoing much of what I've already been hearing but great to see it coming from someone like yourself.

No one expects strongmen to be 'natural'. It's a very unnatural endeavor. No one is going to live forever, everyone should be free to use their body as they wish. Ofc it makes sense to discourage steroids, but I wonder what good is being done by banning injured athletes from using BPC157 to recover to baseline. It's not even in the same ballpark as anabolic steroids or even hGH.

Hi Mitchell loving your content it’s extremely informative and honest. I’m reaching out to you because somethings is happening to me which isn’t spoken about in the fitness/strength industry at all and I feel that in another 10-15 years it’s going to become a big killer of under 40. Long story short, been training since the age of 20 years old, all kinds of training and when I was 24-25 years old decided to go onto steroids, not particularly a high dose initially but gradually over time I took just about everything competed in a few local strongman competitions etc and pretty much was on steroids virtually all the time so 14-15 years. I was a doorman for years so it just went with the territory I guess. When I was 39 just by chance I was having a scan on my heart for something unrelated and by chance they found an aortic root aneurysm that was 51mm. I immediately changed my lifestyle, stopped taking steroids went cold turkey and stopped lifting heavy weights, I did have to go on trt as I’ve destroyed my natural testosterone production. Fast forward 7 years as with regular scans I am now facing major open heart surgery within the next 6 weeks to replace my aortic root, if I don’t have it done it will eventually kill me. I want to raise awareness simply because the amount of young men on steroids now and the ridiculous dosages they are on, it’s going to kill a lot of men going forward and virtually no one is aware of what aortic aneurysms are. When i mention it to lads in the gym they don’t know what an aortic aneurysm is.Whether it’s an interview or if you just do a piece about it, i genuinely think awareness will save lives. I’m reaching out and am prepared to be very candid and honest about what I did to get to this point. Kind regards Luke

@@Lucas_Jeffrey one person told their doctor they thought their cancer came from melanota thats where thst came from. The actual studies show something else NIH.... "Topical MTII Therapy Suppresses Melanoma Through PTEN Upregulation and Cyclooxygenase II Inhibition Chronic inflammation is a key component in the progression of tumors [38]. Our previous study showed that the inhibition of inflammatory COX-2/PGE2 signaling contributed to the POMC-mediated melanoma suppression in vitro and in vivo [24]. This is in line with the present study which shows that MTII attenuated melanoma progression through COX-2 downregulation and PGE2 reduction at nanomolar scale in B16-F10 melanoma cells as well as in melanoma tissues. Recently, a positive correlation between COX-2 and PD-L1 expression has been delineated in primary and metastatic melanoma [39]. Furthermore, the application of COX-2 inhibitor celecoxib is capable of reducing the PD-L1 protein levels in human melanoma cell lines. Therefore, the COX-2-modulating function of MTII implicates its potential to serve as an adjuvant in combination with anti-PDL1 immune checkpoint therapy for the control of advanced melanoma. In summary, MTII exhibits anti-neoplastic effects against melanoma in vitro and in vivo. The anti-neoplastic mechanism of MTII is delineated through the activation of MC1R/PTEN signaling and the subsequent inhibition of the oncogenic AKT/NFκB/COX-2 axis. Hence, MTII may serve as a novel therapeutic adjuvant for the control of malignant melanoma."

It's an acknowledged aspect of the sport, and it is not tested - so go ahead and do what you like. Pregnancy is inherently dangerous. We prescribe birth control because the (well studied, widely documented) side effects are significantly less than the risks associated with pregnancy. Taking hormones to maximize athletic performance is not in the same realm at all. I'm not saying that, if safe, it shouldn't be allowed. Just that the two are not equivalent, or even really related ideas. And for the very small fraction of people who have pathologic hormone profiles, those are appropriately treated.

there are other very easy ways to prevent pregnancy. for performance and other things, not so much edit: your argument would make sense if birth control pills were about making pregnancies safe, not about temporarily preventing them

@@allylilith5605Hormonal implant or IUD are the most effective forms of birth control. Copper IUDs are an option, but side effects are not well tolerated by many. OCP or patches are not as good, still hormonal. Condoms are another tier down; given typical use, almost 1/5 women will become pregnant if they rely only on condoms. And again, we're talking about taking a medicine to avoid an unintended effect, versus using chemical means to change your body in some way. Again, I'm not completely opposed, I'm just saying they are not comparable aims. You can have all of the health benefits of exercise without taking PEDs/peptides/what have you.
