One of Gary's biggest talking points is the a percentage of people not being able to methylate certain things. Then recommending after testing taking certain amino acids that can help the body process things it has trouble processing. Why are Dr's avoiding supplements like Nitric Oxide (L Arginine) that is a known Vasodilator or Trimethylglycine and going right into prescribing angiotensin receptor blockers?

This is a fact Brecka gets right: Most of the times, what MDs in the US do facing a patient with a chronic condition is put them on medication for life while callling the next patient in order to do the same. Actually, helping the patient is bad for the humongous business health care in the US is.

Hi Dr. Mike! I'm a psychologist from Brazil and I would like to thank you so much for this video! I feel that sometimes people forget that in order to be a good health care professional we need to constantly keep up with the science and we can't just say things because we think they make sense. And as a part of that we also need to recognise the things that we don't know or that still needs better understanding. I loved the way you showed how this gurus use pseudoscience to take advantage of people. Thank you!!

Imagine my neurologist told me to be careful with psychologists and talking therapy in general. He thinks I have already great insights and I can sort out my problems on my own. I did so many talking therapies but they never worked for me, I have now started a new course of CBT, and if it doesn't work this will be my last attempt. Also, stop saying that pschology is science, when in fact it's not. You are dealing with the human uncoscious (I hope you know the etimology of psychology), we are not a bunch of predictable agents that can be labelled and investigated through what it's now basically psychography.

It’s because they pray on the vulnerable. Everyone has their insecurities and issues. No matter how smart or educated, they are still human. These gurus use scientific words and partly true statements, and twist them and exaggerate them to manipulate people. And people have hope that it works. Deep down they may know is BS, but they are just hoping the quick fix/miracle cure works. They may also be desperate. People who suffer from chronic pain, hearing there’s a cure for their headaches it’s music to their ears. They would try anything at that point, because everything else they tried didn’t work, so they are desperately hoping it works. These gurus are despicable for manipulating the most vulnerable to make money.

Unfortunately the medical field is run by insurance companies and pharma companies because it is BIG business. And if your doctor doesn't subscribe to the 'Standard of Care' that was created by insurance and pharma, they can be sued and held liable. It's a tough position for a doctor to be in. And often the standard of care is ‘keep doing what you’re doing but also take this drug’. It leaves patients feeling that they’re not being heard and that they do not have options. And to make matters worse, MDs have very little nutrition and lifestyle training, which is the root of where most disease comes from. Our healthcare system is almost 100% reactive and not focused on preventative treatment The ‘gray area’ as you refer to it is growing exponentially bc of this.. people want health experts, not drug dealers. And so too often we look to ‘IKA’s for alternative / natural solutions

One of the worst plagues in the modern world are doctors who are influenced by their politics instead of treating their patients. The past few years are very revealing of this hive mind mentality, and shows that even the most trained are influenced by their own emotions or the "I can't be wrong" ideology.

I find it funny how certain ones have such a distaste for our former President, but yet didn't and still don't have a problem with push the vaccine that "Operation Warpspeed" helped to create. As soon as I herd the migrain thing I would have walked away. My family has a history of migraines. My great grandfather was on some serious pain killers before he died because he had a constant migraine. I even went for testing and they scanned my head multiple times because they wanted to make sure it wasn't a clot or something (which it wasnt) so then they hooked me up to a brain wave imagining machine while I was having one. After 10 minutes of a 45 minute procedure the doctor comes in and gave me something for the head ache. And after I slept for about 30 minutes because it was that bad he showed me why he canceled it early. It looked like a rave was going on in my brain and he said it was rare but really untreatable. That really the only thing we could do is treat the symptoms as they happen. Also I know somepeople when they hear migraine they are going to think "oh its just a headache" no its way worse than that. I get super sensitive to hot and cold, movement of my own body is difficult. All of my senses start going haywire like I can see sound and taste air. I also get a fever not a duper high fever but a fever. And I can even get uncontrollable shakes from it like I'm am hypothermic. So I would have laughed in this dudes face and said "you think salts going to fix that? Get real." And moved on

@@essascoisas100 thank you very much. And cluster headaches and migraines are technically the same thing. Migraines though we're originally written as a "woman's only" condition based around the menstrual cycle. On paper my headaches are classified as clusters but calling them migraines means more people will understand what sort of level I'm dealing with. But yes even for not being a doctor you hit the nail on the head. And there has been some shift recently with treatment and categorization of cluster headaches stearing it away from being gender dividing disorders and realizing women can get them as well. And I was also told about the pure oxygen treatments. But of course my insurance wouldn't pay for any of it... but they will pay for pain killers that I use maybe once or twice a month.. so there is that I guess.

Himalayan "sea" salt? Really, dude? The Himalaya range is freaking landlocked! Anyone with access to a world map or a freaking globe could tell you that! People really will fall for anything, won't they? Much love to you, Mike, for calling out all this ridiculous bullshit!

Well parts of it were underwater several million years ago before the Indian tectonic plate collided with the Eurasian plate. But Himalayan sea salt is nothing special other than being a nice color. I prefer to buy iodized salt. That way I get enough iodine. Morton's salt is cheaper too.

  • @anasazidarkmoon

@ks8084 quite true. But "true" sea salt is gathered by evaporating seawater, whereas other salt is mined. The only thing special about the pink salt is that it has trace amounts of iron giving it a pink color.

  • @Aqotics

You do realise it’s dried up right? Meaning there was a sea in the past. The reason why these inland salt mines are better is because they’re less polluted than typical sea salt.

  • @Aqotics

@@anasazidarkmoonalso what makes them so good is that compared to traditional sea salt, micro plastic contamination + contamination of whatever else is in the sea water is limited. As the lake dried up millions of years ago, but when it was a lake the sea wasn’t polluted with half the toxins we have today. Celtic salt is better tho (:
