In this match , inzamam batted so well and Azhar Mahmood bowled brilliantly.

I can't understand why India wouldn't want to play Pakistan today anywhere in the world, especially at home. They are the superior team today and could claim alot of victories, but back then. Pak was just on another level 🏏🏏🏏💯

I'm proudly witnessed to see that time when beating India for PAKISTAN was normal .. contrary to the current situation.

That plumb Dravid LBW was one of the worst i've ever seen. You can even see the off stump when it hits his leg! Thank god we got neutral umpires! But what happened to Azhar Mahmood, was such a promising all-rounder but didn't live up to his talent. Was a very good bowler that bowled at a good pace at around 87mph in the early days, with movement and could genuinely bat scoring a century against the great SA bowlers at that time. Damn Pakistan had quite a lot of talent coming out during the 80s and 90s, it really has dried up. We don't have any players in the top 10 in any format or bowling/batting.

I remember watching this match live with my cousins and when Saqlain got run out we fell off our seats laughing. The funny bit was that despite Saqlain doing his best to run in line of the wickets, the ball somehow snuck between his legs and hit the stumps. O man that was funny ...

Javagal srinath bowled ijaz with a beauty but where is he now good bowler & Inzimam played fast bowlers without helmet & Pakistan win the final but both Indian n pakistani players played well. Best of luck to both nations for upcoming world cup 2019.

After losing every match even in their home Indian home ground supporters were totally surrendered from the bottom of their hearts in 1998 99 and indian analysts crying by their own toungs that india has no comparison with pak pak is much much much better these types of statements by Indian analyst in 1998 99 but 1 win in world cup 99 against pak was a victory that maintained Indian teams respect and indian supporters again switched on their properly swichted on TVs. But then after 2002 again india strengthened and due to captaincy of sourav and some new good players like yuvi zaheer irfan dhoni. Dhoni arrival was a turning point after the arrival of dhoni till now Pakistan has no comparison with india except 1 match of champion trophy final 2017 and asia cup 2016.
