It is Catholic, the reason why the term “500 Years of Christianity” was coined instead of “500 Years of Catholicism” is to include other Christian denominations and just the Roman Catholic Church. The islands were Christianized in 1521 with the arrival of the Spaniards. That’s why Cebu, or Philippines in general, is mainly Catholic.
