Man this is making me remember these two poor old people I saw at BRFF- imagine you’re good old Gertrude going to a quaint hotel in the mountains with your husband Albert (or some other old guy name), and when you pull up you’re greeted with a shitload of neon walking carpets 💀

So on the topic. When I was at fursquared 2022 some dude walked into the Sheraton lobby the first day of the con.. Looked around, laughed a couple times and said "What, what is this?" And everyone just like stopped and looked at him. (Imagine your first encounter with furries is a hotel lobby full of them staring at you in silence.) So he just repeated "what is this!?" and everyone still just kinda didn't know what to do. And So this dude's amusement was quickly turning to annoyance and he was starting to get pissed off "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" (I'm in my partial, trying not to suffocate laughing) Eventually someone tried to explain it to him and he just goes "HELL NO. I'M OUT OF HERE" And I don't think I will witness anything more hilarious in my life. I feel for him.

man, speaking of trapped in an elevator with furries- at megaplex 2022 this summer me and a few other furries were all huddles into this tiny elevator and as we approached the bottom floor we all went "WOOOOOO!!!" together to celebrate and someone said "they must've been trapped in there forever." it was funny, definitely a core memory from my first con.

Being a furry is like a-hol-le repellent. By the time someone realizes they want something from you they've usually already dropped their mask long enough fur us to see they're not worth knowing...

I was laughing at this couple at FWA because for literally an entire day, they sat in the corner just watching the fursuiters just kinda looking so confused. Ended up talking to them a bit and they seemed nice, but just stuck in a wrong place wrong time kinda situation

Strangely, my non-furry friends couldn't care less about me being a furry. It's my being an Oingo Boigno fan that weirds them out. I still don't know what to do with this knowledge.

I was bowling in fursuit for charity the other week. I think they were annoyed by the fact I bowled a no tap 241 and kicked their ass.

Every year at TFF my family protest the con shouting slurs and god hates (insert text here) a year I was in a dog outfit and barked at them on a leash. And years later I saw me on my mom’s computer.. I stared at it and my mom said she’s sending these pictures to those whom will help them fight the furries whom will give the gay to their families. I’ll be honest.. they took a better picture of me than I could have..

As a former furry hater, I defenitely know that most normies think of us as massive degenerates. I can feel their dissapointment in humanity when being in the same elevator as us

This reminds me of the final year of Brony con there was a baseball game going on the same weekend and every time you would get in a elevator it would be some normie family with baseball stuff and bronies with some wierd dakis or other shit the reactions were priceless 😂
