The litterbox thing is super sad, because it's used in case kids need to use the restroom during a school shooting and can't leave, or for spills. Construction places I've worked at had kitty litter for spills, because it's cheap and super absorbent. You spill chemicals, toss some kitty litter on it, wait, then sweep- no risk of touching said chemicals, easy peasy. But of course something as simple as that is fuel for moral panics... It's pretty tiring lol.

I didn’t know this before. Thanks for sharing, though. I have a friend who like to tease me for being a furry and she once teased me by bringing up school litterboxes. My school doesn’t have them, but hers does and she assumed it was for the furries at her school. Now I can tell her this! although, knowing her, she probably won’t care and will keep making fun of me. Cool facts, though!

@Radium Wolf me too. believe me, I was confused af the first time I saw litter at a construction site lol, I think I asked if they had a stray cat problem or something. (which is actually a potential other reason why there'd be litter boxes somewhere come to think about it.) people's hatred of furries really makes them blind tho, doesn't it?

A friend works at the local supermarket and decided he wanted to play a prank on me. i went to my grandmother's house with my family and i brought my vr headset to let my grandmother try it, because i attempted to get her to use it 4 times before but failed. at last she tried it, struggled with it so much and couldn't really use it, and was terrified of the place i put her in, even though it was meant to be a bit calm and fun. I let my mom try it and she had fun. I go to the bathroom... and i come back and my sister went on my headset without me there, and i asked her what she was using, and she didn't want to tell me what it was, and i looked at it and she was in vr chat, and logged me out. She saw my avatar... a deer fox rexoium with pink skirt, crop top, and arm AND leg warmers. I bet she never expected that. nether did i.😱

Man, Furry struggle tweets has like cornered the market of furry twitter content, everyone knows about them now, it's wild how popular their content has gotten.

If I got just ONE CHANCE to have one of these moments, you treat it like its the worst cringe but the element of surprise can be used to your advantage, a way to initiate the conversation on why you're a furry, if you play your cards right, you might just leave better off than when started

im not even a furry, but my mom has asked me about litterboxes in schools too 😭😭

My only real furry struggles to date were my parents being a bit suspicious about how excited I (a then 29-year-old man) was to see Zootopia in theaters in 2016, and one of my college friends talking about cartoon crushes and mentioning Chel from Road to El Dorado only for me to agree and then also mention Sally Acorn.

While watching this on the topic of the litter box thing, I remembered how I basically exposed myself to my family. To make a long story short, it involved Cards Against Humanity and explaining what a Golden Shower is, amongst other things.

I got advice for the furry streamer struggle - farting. A good technique is to take one ass cheek of yours, lean on that cheek. Then try to slide in the direction of the other cheek, creating a good opening. As a result, it should just sound like you exhaled quietly. This technique is called the ass spreader. I can't remember what we were arguing about because my dumbass kicked full force what I thought was a pile of leaves. Under this pile was hidden a tree stump. I kicked a tree stump with all my strength. I'm sure I broke some toes but my dumbass never went to the hospital. Instead, I cried like a baby and swore every word I could come up with for a solid few hours. I was unable to walk or move any toes for weeks. I did manage to hobble around with a lot of swearing.
