Me 1. Buy 3 large 4L bottles of water . Wash them them out let them dry. 2. Boil water in kettle. Then let cool down 3. Pour cooled down boiled water from kettle into empty bottles and drink. ,4. Repeat and save money and the Environment..

Pretty sure unless you live off grid you have water coming out your faucets ! You probably have city water which is more regulated than anything you can buy in a bottle .

I bought 20 pounds of good hamburger & made 20 packs to freeze. I'm still going through them. But I bought it only because it was on sale for less than $2 a pound. I will either finish using it over the next winter or end up passing a few off to my elderly friend too. This will actually save me money & last quite awhile for one person. It is nice to know I have a bit of meat put away too. But no more even though it's back on sale. I'd never get through it before having to give it away.

Yes i agree but don't put all ur eggs in 1 basket too and it the electric goes completely out. A lot of ppls that dont have gas n GENERATORS will of just wasted their money unless they can half n dry it too and freeze some of it. But yes fear is a major player in this game now and a lot of people will freak out even more if there's no electricity but most of all NO INTERNET BC A LOT OF PPLS CAN'T GO AN HOUR OR DAY WITHOUT IT AND THAT IS WHEN REAL REAL REAL CRAZIES WILL COME OUT AND STORES OF ALL KINDS AND PHARMACIES WILL BE LOOTED AND KILLING AND MORE BC THEY SAID IT WOULD BE " A DARK WINTER"!

That is why if you store meat in a freezer. You should invest in a deep freezer and a vacuum sealer. Most meats can last about a year when vacuumed sealed and put into a deep freezer..

I definitely eat enough rice to make use of the 4lbs of it I have. What got me was the water. I brought sort of a lot of it and we just never used it. I'm sticking with a two month TP supply, though. I don't have room for more and two months should get us through the worst.

But when people do this it makes it that much harder for other people and families to just regularly grocery shop. And then there's nothing left over. I bought a chest freezer from GE back in March from Lowes......... still waiting on it.

I went to Costco the other day seeing huge pallets of toilet paper and now only 2 pallets when I came in today 😂

I live in North Dakota. My windowsill as well as the entire outside is a giant freezer.

I shop at that rastallies like every week lol

My Mom’s a Costco shopper, my pantry already looked like a doomsday shelter long b4 Covid. lol

2021 is gonna be the final game level but you need to survive an hour worth of waves

The time to start stocking up was in July. Would like to purchase a few more essential items before Thanksgiving. The supermarket was packed today. Saw lots of people stocking up on paper towels. I am winding down on my shopping. Instead of buying a second freezer for meat, buy canned meat instead. Target has canned chicken meat at a reasonable price. They also carry canned Hormel Chili which can also be found at any grocery store. Pace Complete Taco Meat filling is another option that you can buy at any grocery store. Hormel makes canned turkey (which you can buy on Ebay). You can also purchase Kirkland canned roast beef and gravy on Amazon. Hormel also makes canned ham which is another option. Also stock up on canned tuna and canned salmon which you can also buy at Target. If you want to pay a little more, check at Keystone Meats online. They sell canned meat directly on their website.

It's nice of the simple minded to boost the sales of the freezer manufacturers.
