Canadian government buys lavish $9M NYC condo for consul general

While many Canadians struggle to afford a home, the Canadian government has splurged on a lavish new condo in an area of New York known as “Billionaire’s Row.”
The extravagant $9 million condo will be the official residence of Consul General Tom Clark.
Global Affairs Canada says the home currently used by Clark “doesn’t meet New York building code and required significant investments… to modernize the property.”
Global’s Mackenzie Gray has the details.

As certain government employees a reasonable amount on residential, lodging etc. BUT this is CRAZY and the gull to think its okay. Awful. I remember that this young women was dating an old politician in Canada- they were engaged. He always flied to her in business class with our tax money, and she would also get free tickets with her. Our tax is so wasted. And yes that girl divirced him after she got her degrees from prestigious school.
