It's not just different types of people. The first card is how they identify (e.g., Mitch, LGBTQ+), he passes to Scott who is also LGBTQ+ and a man; he passes to a Avi who is a man, Jewish, and American. To Kevin who is American, Black, and Christian. To Kirstie who is Christian, Latina, and a woman. It's what sets them apart, and what unites them.

I have been binge watching PTX reaction videos all day. (Slow day at work. Don't judge me!!!) But, I cannot get enough of them. I just laugh each time at the shock and amazement that people have listening to them for the first time.

Kevin doesn’t always sing but Avi and Matt always do. Just because they’re singing low doesn’t mean they aren’t singing.

let's all say it together in harmony PURE PERFECTION that's what this is!! Check out Amazing Grace it's the best I've ever heard!!

"Mad World" is haunting and beautiful. "Hallelujah" of course is the best that harmony can achieve. "Havana" will tickle your fancy big time.

Mary did you know is another absolutely amazing one from PTX. Speaking of amazing, Amazing Grace is out of this world superb 😊

Definitely watch their cover of Can't Help Falling In Love. It's all about the harmonies and dissonance. Absolutely incredible and Mitch takes the lead with a voice smooth as silk.

If you want fabulous harmony, listen to "My Heart With You." Their live performance in 2022 is, imo, the best. Although their official version is good, too. Makes me cry every time I hear it.

If you're looking for harmonies, you need to check out their original, Run To You. Most beautiful thing they've done, IMO.

Run To You is my favorite PTX song ever, no beatboxing, just pure vocal harmonies.

If that Wall of Sound doesn't scratch that harmony itch, nothing will! I get an eargasm every time I hear it!! You need to check out their versions of Amazing Grace and Can You Feel The Love Tonight. They are the best versions ever recorded!

Great reaction! When you were talking about harmonies, all of us who have seen this video before were smiling, because we know the wall of beauty that was to come. This video is all harmony, with a little percussion, and it has such am impactful message. For future reactions: PTX Love Again (original, very strong beat), PTX Bohemian Rhapsody (crazy Queen cover), PTX Evolution of Michael Jackson (mashup of about 20 MJ hits, and Kevin sings again).

I love watching reaction videos to Pentatonix, and yours are some of my favorites. I will say I've seen many different reactions to Imagine and if the reactor doesn't get the song's message, I don't go back to them again. It is amazing how this message of unity flies over people's heads. Thank you for your HUMAN reaction.

Dreams by the cranberries they covered and they were IN LOCKDOWN and none of them heard the other one. They recorded themselves from each of their houses. You won't believe they couldn't hear each other. PLEASE PLEASE DO IT NEXT. It's the best cover they've ever done in my opinion. And to have not been together is shocking.

“Amazing Grace” is another one where Kevin sings. It’s beautiful. And the harmonies are on-point.

Another song that is amazing with harmonies, even though it’s not with PTX, is Helplessly Hoping by Home Free. They are another amazing a capella group that are amazing. I love both groups!!

Well, we’re 6 months on from this and all the suggestions made by others are spot on. But it’s November and that means PTX new Christmas album Evergreen. Wonderful songs and incredible arrangements. But the two videos to watch are I Just Called to Say I Love You and The Prayer. Strap in for that one, because you’re likely to fall out of your chair!

Kevin was singing high harmonies in this as well, and sings a little in their cover of Mary Did You Know. Watch Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone by them and he sings on that too.

Run to You is completely 5 part harmony and is an original from PTX, you ought to react to that one, it is a beautiful song by them. No beat boxing but a bass line that is amazing.

Try home free ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan. They are a 5 man A Capella vocal band. Great harmonies, fun and really great covers and original songs.. great reaction!!

"Run To You" is basically ALL harmonies... it's amazing! One of their lesser reacted to but amazing and also original songs. Mad World is also pretty epic. Their 'wall of sound' in this is my favourite though... I want an entire 'wall of sound' song because no one does it like them!!

"Run to You" an original of PTX has amazing harmonies.

When you spoke about how good the harmonies were prior to the 30 second harmonization I just kept saying wait for it wait for it happens you will experience the Big O. Mary did you know also has really good harmonies period in February they released an album of all original songs titled the lucky ones. Mitch and Scott had their own Google group called Superfruit. Check out their cover of Katy Perry's rise. There are three other singers but the harmonies are insane. Also Avi has a solo career now check out chains on the rise. Every note you hear every sound you hear every word you hear was done by Avi

"Say something" is wonderful. The harmonies are great, and Kevin plays the cello.

Seeing how excited you were getting over their harmonies, I couldn't wait to see your reaction to "the wall of sound" it looked to hit you the way it hits me every time. Please do more PTX. 😊

If you want to hear Avi sing, you definitely need to check out the solo work he's been doing since leaving PTX. His first EP, "Sage & Stone" was recorded and released before he left the group. His "I'll Get By" EP was released in 2019 as he started out on his first solo tour (I went to 3 of those shows, and they were amazing). "Change on the Rise" is his most successful original song as yet, with over 8.5 million views. It's a good starting point for checking out what he's done outside of the confines of PTX.

I have to say most of the time mitches parts are my favorite but I think in this instance Scott's voice really shined in this video Mitch will always be my favorite pentatonic but I really enjoyed scotts part in this video well I enjoyed them all of course but I think he really did something special in this video✌️❣️

Avi has always sung. I think what you mean is that he doesn't always take the lead. He has, but, not as often as Scott, for example.

I didn't quite understand what the reactor meant at the beginning when he said that Avi doesn't sing very often. Singing bass is still considered singing. Avi sang in 100% of the songs when he was in the group.
