Penn Jillette | Adam Carolla Show | 3/13/2023

Комедия

On today's show, Adam visits Penn Jillette in Las Vegas where the topics range from magic to music. Penn tells the story of how he met his partner Teller, their show which is now the longest running show in Las Vegas history and most tickets sold. He tells us about his new jazz album, the most confident person he'd ever seen on stage and the most famous magicians ever.

Decades ago, I bought a Penn and Teller book of magic tricks and pranks. My favorite is the one where you have a pizza delivered that is decorated like a card that your guest had chosen earlier in the evening. You keep guessing the wrong card, then the pizza shows up and it is the correct card - like a three of clubs made in pepperoni pieces.

Had to laugh at that section about bottled water. I bang on about this all the time. The bottled water industry are full of geniuses. 40 years ago people went all day without water but now no-one dare leave the house without bottled water. A global multi-billion dollar industry generated from literally nothing. Kudos.
