Adam Carolla | Club Random with Bill Maher

Ойын-сауық

Listen to the Show on all Podcast Apps "Club Random with Bill Maher" podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...
Bill Maher and Adam Carolla randomly riff on the war that is show business, how you know when you’re too high, how kids used to be scared of their friends’ dads, why messing up your kids ruins it for everyone, government red tape making life impossible, and the joke that Adam couldn’t tell.

Carolla was saying we're in trouble when comedians can't speak for fear of a certain group as Bill literally stops him from speaking to heap a mountain of context over the subject due to fear of that group. Then he takes it a step further and proceeds to tell Ace what disclaimers he should put into his joke in order to be able to say it. Almost nothing could have proven Adam's point better than this.

*Why Bill Maher is a dying breed:* he will recognize free speech as an issue but will you also recognize the “deep state” wacky right wing conspiracy shit is nothing but nonsense as well. Corolla would never admit the conspiracy shit is nonsense. So therefor nothing he says concerning free speech is truly brave because the internet is already extremely over saturated with free speech right wingers to the point where its become incredibly gimmicky.

I can remember laying in my twin bed around midnight, listening to Dr. Drew & Adam talk to mostly young people about issues that I knew next to nothing about at the time. Both shows were very important to me, as far as shows go, so this was a nostalgic experience for me for sure. I went to college from a working-class family, was lucky to be there and had to work my a$$ off and put up with crap from a few awful professors. I learned a lot from those experiences, and I feel sorry and ashamed that those spoiled kids will never appreciate what it’s like to struggle, work hard, sacrifice, put up with crap and persevere. I agree with the Corolla praise in terms of when he is on another person's show, but not long ago Bill was on Adam's show, and it was kinda shit compared to this. Adam is a good radio personality in general, and a great guest, but at least on the Maher visit it was a horrific interview considering Bill did better while shitfaced. Corolla on a long dialogue is fine, but his pod has never made me come away liking him near as much as when I see him elsewhere. And yeah, he's def more right leaning than Bill. But I agree with that fact of us Maher-esque types being thought of us being friendlier to the right because we are more able to hate the left, and how untrue that is. I mean, hating the left is getting more true daily, but it cannot ever change my feelings toward the right. Its beyond frustrating that people think Trump derangement is something that happens to his opponents, when its a bewildered common sense reaction to their inannity (even my spellcheck didn't touch that, and I don't really know if its used correctly here, but I don't believe in changing my written words). The way people will STILL defend this shit or deliberately avoid the evidence to the contrary, that fits the word derangement. The one problem with legal pot for me, my short points or quips keep turning into paragraphs and that usually means you are being boring or assholish on KZread and I never really know which it is. I had to come back and add because I got a good analogy on where they differ in terms of right and left. While discussing women's beauty vs aging Adam used a "Mason/Dixon" reference to make his point. Now it was appropriate and I got no issues and obviously neither does Bill. However, I can feel safe saying Bill wouldn't ever use that particular reference to make a point about Gilligan's island. :)

Loved Adam Carolla! The Show keeps getting better! I think the laid-back format really allows for the freedom of conversation to come across where I can relax as well and enjoy. I particularly found the conversation about marriage and cheating interesting. I love this episode because it touched base on so many different things and was a perfect melding of Bill and Adam. I would love to see Adam Carolla come back again 100% .

Me too. But many of my conservative friends think he's had an awakening. He hasn't, the wokesters just started affecting him personally and professionally. Because it sounds good when he says we have to start by not having badfaith..........LMFAO. Now go back and watch his take on "Trumps Collusion" back in the day...............Lmfao. He's an entertainer, a good one. But he sees the writing on the wall. So he's adapting. But he only started adapting now that he's worried about getting censored,.........not when you were. He
