Just an outsiders opinion, but I find it interesting how many guys retire and stay in PGH. Seems like a cool city, coming from someone who’s only had the pleasure of visiting once (2010, sprung for front row seats for the Bruins game when Cookie concussed Savard).

Well it turned out we basically had to run the table in that final sprint..would've said with a 7-0-3 run in 10 would've done the trick. Great channel, let's hope the swagger stays for next season, having Bunting and the youngsters for the full ride. Like most of us have said, this is a disappointing ending but NOTHING like last season's collapse

Can’t wait to see Big Jeff Carter in his future role with the Penguins. During games, when the camera focuses on the press box, Carter will be there chowing down on Nachos with his dentures out. Hopefully every game. This is where he belongs. Swimming in Velvita cheese

The ending of this season definitely felt different. Feels bittersweet not as frustrating as last year. Yeah they missed yeah their mistakes and bad games and shortcomings caught up to them in the end but I was really surprised by the heart they showed at the end of the season. I really did not expect that. That little run at the end was special even if it ended short. Anyways gives me a little hope for the future of this team because I know no matter what this team will never roll over and die like I thought they were going to earlier this season. Have a good off season I’ll miss seeing the post game live streams.

Very true but Graves was killing us all season. When he sat with the "injury" and St Ivany gave us strong minutes...we were a different club. Imagine if we can replace Smith, Raks, and a few others with similarly competent players. Also amazing what Malkin can do with a decent linemate (Bunting). He still nearly reached 70 points and had more even strength points than last season. Too bad he was saddled with Smith and Raks most of the year.

Malkin...Wait he got better at the end of the season? He didn't get younger, oh he finally got a good player on his line. That's just my opinion.

It wasn't Jake it was Jarry being benched that did it

The charge wasn't from trading Jake. Remember when that happened they went on a terrible skid that if they play mediocre they would have made the playoffs. But 2-8-1 is terrible not Meh. The difference was Jarry getting yanked. THATS WHEN the team made a U-Turn

In defence of Jarry , MOST goalies would lose respect and a patience behind ANY d-core THAT soft and poorly constructed. Quite honestly a bad as the team was at times , Dubas’s work was worse .

Very true. The Graves signing was disastrous & why Smith when they could've signed Bunting for less. Then trades Jake & the centerpiece of the return is Bunting. Totally illogical. I don't think there is another team in the NHL who would have kept Todd R on board all season. 4 HOFers and many talented role players yet can't score on the PP. Made no sense and not firing the PP coach made less sense. A number of bad moves cost us our season but just replacing the PP coach by December and It's a different outcome.

Jeff carter was one of the worst forwards on the ice the past two years, so while I get the "love" for him based on his career, the 2024-2025 Penguins are already a better team without him in the lineup.
