The Bucky O’Hare characters had holes in their feet in the comic, long before the toys even existed!

And oddly enough, modern action figures feel like they're even worse at standing than ever before. I go through more packets of poster putty than I ever thought possible prior to my experience as an adult collector.

In my experience the standard black DC Multiverse figure stands work best with my NECA figures. Hope this helps.

At Wal Mart, I find Funko clear peg stands. Most Funko pops don't have peg holes in their feet. So I don't know why Funko sells them. However, they work great with many 6" figure lines.

Um, that's not entirely true. I have some Funko POP! figures with organic holes.

McFarlane Toys and NECA are the only companies i can think of off the top of my head that still make regular peg stands for their figures regularly. Even if many hate McFarlane for always putting a stand in with their figures i love it. It amkes it so i never have to worry about getting my DC figures to stand. I also really like how Transformers figures do peg holes by putting the really tiny holes around their backsides that make those specific display stands very discreet.

I was excited at the prospect of 3-D printing, my own custom stands however, I cannot find the exact measurements of the various holes of the different lines. I was wondering Scott if you had, and could subsequently post that information? Perhaps a dedicated video

My first instinct was I don't need stands with my figures, but yeah... You brought up a good point. I recently got the GI Joe Classified VAMP and thought it was weird there were no foot pegs on the side to help figures stand on the sides of the vehicle.

Boss Fight includes stands of an awkward shape that function, but not too well.

Gi Joe in the 80's started the famous rectangular peg stand when they started making the weapon packs and I always thought that was perfect as it not only gave you a way to display your joes nearly but also served as an incentive to buy the weapon packs just for them.I'm surprised they never offered a box of them through their mail away catalog you got with vehicle purchases.they did go a little wild on foot pegs on the vehicles putting them in places where if a real person was on that part of the vehicle it would be a dangerous place to be like in front of where the missle would fire from

As much as I complain about the quality and rubber capes of McFarlane's DC line, I appreciate the free stand they give us.

Every Mcfarlane figure has a stand as do Jada’s Street Fighter 2 and Mega Man lines. GI Joe Classified in the Sunbow / Retro style each have one. Hiya Toys and Joy Toy have stands. Mezco lines have them. I can continue listing more but it’s clear that there are still stands and they are everywhere.

ringside collectibles have great stands that are pretty universal. WWE Mattel elite, ultimate, basic and retros all fit, as do vintage hasbro wwf, vintage playmates tmnt and toxic crusaders.

McFarlane is great to include stands with all the figures. For dc and different movies. The stands work with neca and Hasbro figures too!

I just put a little bit of tack on the feet of most figures, but also have a couple fly stands, I think the only figures I have atached to pegs are lego minifigures

Do you know if the foot pegs are purely for play value? I've always wondered if they served some manufacturing purpose in the 70s & 80s.

I support what this video stands for! Honestly, as a kid it felt like the designer was forcing you where to put the figure, but as an adult, it’s welcome.

Vehicles and figures need more pegs, I'm not a collector, I want to play with my toys and the lines I collect have zero stands, they want to sell "flight stands" for absurd amounts. They could extract 100,000, toss one in every box, even sell 10 for 19.99 if they wanted in black and clear. But nope! Printer go brrrrrr however. May the sound ever grow louder, praise be Brrrrrr!

I liked them as a kid more than an adult. sadly, I seem to be too dumb to get the figure into the peg correctly in my old age! ha! did a better job as a kid with the pegs

it’s almost always the female figures that really *need* stands. Based on the fact that they’re usually in high heels, and generally have a smaller footprint.
