Distinctly remember avoiding cardboard toys like the plague. Cardboard at the time was for cereal mail aways. It did and still does read as bottom barrel cheap.

I agree with everything said here, but what's also great about this playset is that it offers people just jumping into TVC, like myself, an incredible place to start. I can spend years populating this playset with all kinds of imaginative interactions between characters and places like Dagobah or the Death Star couldn't offer. I can have my Ghost parked outside it with the Rebels crew inside conversing with Han and Chewy, etc. Very excited for this

i was collecting also from 1995 and on, but i guess i wasn't as into it as i should have been, i was doing other things like going to college and attending the star wars celebrations and then finding a job and going to concerts and movies and other things, i got serious again i don't know when, maybe just recently with the addition of stan solo and other makers

Scott, why do you think, with all the millions of Star Wars fans, only 14,000 cantinas sold? its an impressive playset and I figured a lot of fans would desire it. So whatcha think?

Cool video, Scott. Do you plan to display all the cantina figures in the cantina set? It would be great to see for a follow-up video.

You can buy the Cantina and paint it yourself from 3rd parties for less than half the price.

What are your current thoughts on the MOTU Origins still at retail, and the current Turtles of Grayskull line. There were no Turtles of Grayskull figures on the pegs at my Wal Mart Currently.

I wouldn't call this a "Payoff". It is another incomplete product aka carrot on a stick presented as something like a "Milestone" 🤭. For the price that is asked this is just really baffling to me. Technically this is like 6 playsets. So if one playset costs 50$, we would be at 300$. To call this a "Milestone" when it doesn't even have a roof is really cringe(?)🤔.

Excellent job Scott. Completely agree that this hascrap mess is lacking so much that it's just barely a cut above a custom piece by a skilled customizer. Just a bunch of pieces from cheap ass hascrap. It's embarrassing for that $ the LEGO one is far superior just as conceptual piece.😀🧩
