Returning to fishing after years of no fishing. Discovered your videos and am learning what I forgot and what I never knew. Great stuff you are providing and your video examples and underwater views are wonderful Love your style and you keep it fun and interesting. You would be a kick to go fishing with even if I never caught a thing. Your video content never gets old so viewing what you recorded years ago is still of great value.

Awesome, thanks, that was lots of information. And very interesting on keeping bait up off the bottom
DUDE...that was COOL. I'm glad i found your videos.
Awesome testing. Makes my mind roll on other ways to use floats. Be Safe Brother.
Good info for us who throw larger baits. Thanks bud
love these tests!!!!!
Awesome information on the different floats and the weights.
Awesome video as always!! Lots of great information.
Awesome, cool and kinda neat, five ⭐️s, thanks Kieth !!!
Holy smokes !!! Now that was the best informative video I've seen yet in using a Santee rig. I was gonna try demon dragons but think I might just stick with my peg floats
Now that's AWESOME! It definitely gave me much needed info. Thanks buddy.
Love your videos. Like the way u get to it with the experiments and get rid of the bs.lol. keep up the great job 🤘

Great video thank you
I started using tiny strike indicators on my Carolina rig to keep from losing so many hooks, but I've been catching a lot more big panfish, too! Gonna try using floats with circle hooks and cut bait to see if catfish in our local lake like that! Awesome!
Now that was awesome!!!!
One of the most informative videos I have seen on you tube

Lol first boat I guided out of back in the 80's. 15 ft canoe with 17 lb minn kota AND PVC and 2x4 Adjustable double tube outriggers with pole and net holder. Couldn't flip it if you tried. @@FishinNStuff yes pvc pipe to fit the diameter of rod guides 1 end cap seal with pvc glue add padding each end under cap other end screw flange of larger diameter glue finish add screw cap so you can pull rod out if you cut small sleeves and glue at middle or each end you can strengthen the pvc so you can drive over it and doesn't damage rod inside as it makes the middle of the pvc flex so strong the carry handle either rope or strap or with clips either bolted in or pop rivet better making clean seal and you can spray it any colour or have sticker fishing N Stuff logo on the sides of pvc so you can use rock fishing lower your rod off the cliffs without damaging rod on rocks and have 2 hands free to climb down rocks or rope or can put on roof racks of car or inside of car to carry without hooks in your car You will just make it better really mate there are fishing sites that do it but i just like your style of making things i have made so many of your products watching your work
Awesome!!!!!

The santee rigs are similar to the sea striker flounder rigs I use surf fishing here in North Carolina. And those little baby floats are used making bluefish rigs too. Like your experiments and ideas.

Watching your video in England so you are surely international. Found you by accident but although the fishing kit may be slightly different either end of the pond found your explanations to be easy to follow and very I formative. I have now subscribed and looking forward to further videos. May all your lines be tight. Terry McAndrew

I went and dragged a lure out of the trash that had rusted Hooks. Thanks buddy
Use the little 1" orange peg floats for various things and just cut a slot in them so I can quick attach them to my line.

Cool vid. Was wondering if u could diy a kayak rack that goes into a rear reciever and holds the kayak upright?
Fishing on the rivers I use 8 oz in around 1 to 2mph current on dragging weights and typically big baits skips or shad

With a 3 inch peg float
So next thing to do is to see how big of a bait keeps each off the bottom but not floating to the top.

I'm not sure any bait can sink that big football float , use it and shorten your leader
@want2boutdoors274

@@FishinNStuff how short of a leader do you think Keith?
I’d like to see a kayak troller motor set up or something similar, maybe more kayak hack builds.
You should come up with a DIY stone deflector for towing a boat on rocks and gravel
Noce float hack. Now I can get some of those and make some santee floats made up
Hey Keith you make the best videos they’re both informative and educational oh and funny . I got my shirt and decal last Monday thanks a million to Pebbles. Where can I email you you an idea I have ? Thanks a million

For a long time I could not find any slip floats here in South Korea. I had a pack of little 1 1/2 inch Betts peg floats that I wasn't doing anything with. I took a left-over Lollipop stick from one of my daughter's finished Chupa Chups. I ran that through a peg float and they make pretty decent little slip bobbers. They fight tight so I don't need to use glue or anything to hold the stick in place.
@FishinNStuff

I did a few like that , they work really good . It don't have to be fancy to catch fish
now you just have to add the hats to the site so we can buy them since they are ready to go. lol :)

I had an issue lol they are on there now though , I am sorry 😞
Love your videos, I got a idea for a new one. I have been playing around with it but no success. I have a deep V tracker targa. I like to use my bimini top but it takes up so much of my fishing room because of the support arms. Have you ever made one?
@FishinNStuff
3 жыл бұрын
No I haven't made a bimini top. But I have installed one on a video
The tiny floats that you weren't sure about their use, I use them for Pompano rigs when fishing in the surf.

Tell me what you think, I took foam ball Bobber, opened it up from the top, so the shaft is easier to get to at the bottom. Then I used Needlenose Pliers to straighten the bend, pulled out the spring, and top push peg, but left the other two in as my main pegs as my float. Easy hack, and if weighted? The weight comes out easy too. I save all parts🤭
I need a saltwater version of Fishin-N-Stuff!

I enjoy your videos. Have you ever tried Air Lock floats?
@FishinNStuff

Nope never seen em before. But they look like they'd work good
Notice the Black was easier to see........ the bright colors attract salmon and steelhead also .pinks chartreuse and orange. But dark colors make a larger silhouette.
@FishinNStuff
3 жыл бұрын
I know but catfish aren't attracted too colors just scent , and the deeper you fish the less color matters , and most people are trolling 30 ft or so . I would just clear coat mine so they would be like mono line like I said on the last video . But I totally get why they have the colors for bass , salmon, crappie and so forth
I had no idea peg floats make cool music underwater, wonder if that attracts the fish too 😎
@FishinNStuff

I want to see some fishing stuff bandannas
Dude this explains so much. I've been using peg floats that clearly won't hold up my bait. Do you have the link for those 2 1/2" football floats?
@FishinNStuff
3 жыл бұрын
Look on tackle bandit . They are cheaper than what I paid . I'm pretty sure
you know the green one of the double clip you don't have to pull that deal off just clip the line in each end that way you can add it or take it away based on whether you need it or not
@FishinNStuff
3 жыл бұрын
You can do that , I was afraid it might weaken my leader line
I call it a floating Carolina Rig I do it for bass
You can always double up on the peg floats
Can you do a segment on slip bobbers with a list for fresh and salt water? I searched youtube and the internet and cannot find a video on hos the bobbers with slits are suppose to work and hacks to keep the line from coming out the slit, even with the pegs in place. I found one video of a guy asking for help in keeping his line from coming out of his slip bobber with a slit and it was a hugh bobber. Since you like a challenge this one should give you plenty of ideas. Keep wetting the hooks.
You know those little Creme Lures? I took the Hooks off some of those, to make some Demon dragons? Well this first ones looking more like a little possed lizard . These things are tiny. And I painted them also
Make a diy fishing beach cart
Because the football float is bigger around the the others ....try the demon floats with a line in the middle so the float sits in the water like a boat ....
What about the big 3” round float?
Not sure if someone beat me to it. Those small floats, are used as strike indicators or drifting small jigs and flies

You ever make a weight in a spoon . You twist a wire loop and melt the lead in the spoon with a torch. Then you stick the wire in the lead with needle nose pliers .
