Could it be used in a indoor gym for announcements in competition?

I just bought this powered mixer and i planned on using this just to play my laptop music threw. so i hook up my rca jacks to the rca input jacks and played pink Floyd's song see saw which i know to be true stereo.well guess what it was mono. So i did a little research and found this mixer has 2 separate amps in it so using channels 1 and 2 i toke my rca jacks and added quarter inch jack adapters and plug them into channels 1 and 2. Using the mon knob on channel i turned the knob up a quarter of the way. on channel 2 i turn the mon knob all the way down and used the mane knob below the efx knob i turn it up a quarter of the way. Oh i am sorry i for got to mention on channel 1 turn the efx knob up halfway. On the right side of the mixer you well find 2 black knobs with a switch in the middle. the one on the left is monitor the one on the right is mane master. When playing your music turn these knobs up to your desired loudness on your speakers but before you do the switch in the middle, switch it to the left.On your channels1 and 2 adjust your highs and mids and your lows to your desired levels. Apparently the the two black knobs i mentioned monitor and mane master, well one is for one amp and the other is for the other amp.I hope i did this right.If i messed up please let me know. This is how i have my mixer set up and i am happy to say i have true stereo and oh yes it sounds Awesome. good luck Charles Taylor out.

I’m probably doing something wrong?? I have my nonpowered speakers connected to the back… Then I use the monitor out plug to connect my JBL powered speakers… for some reason it’s either or…but can’t use all four speakers?? Am I doing something wrong? Can all four speakers be used?? If so then WOW-this little i8500 is a TITAN! Please let me know-they have us this system as a gift to our church…and clearly I am not to savvy with PA systems thanks

Can I connect my Scarlett 4i4 to this pv i8500 for recording? I know its a powered mixer but I would not be plugging in my Yamaha HS7 into the mixer. They would be plugged into 4i4

Why did they only put two output's in the rear single main single monitor?

I just purchased one and I want to know if it is possible to plug in four speakers. If so, how do you do it?

This mixer is MONO only?

Peavey has some of the worst videos for there stuff. Can't find a video with sound demo on the 6500

Don't buy this if you're finding yourself at this video after all these years of it being released. It's garbage, even for a small group. I play a jazz duo and it's just acoustic guitar and bass, we only mic our vocals and no matter how good the mic or mix is the vocals always sound muddy and off key. Idk how it does it but I'll perform a song on a different PA and sound great, then perform the exact same song with this and I always sound sharp on the vocals. Not to mention this thing will start feedbacking before you can even turn it up loud enough to hear anything. Overall just a box o garbage.
