Can I connect my Scarlett 4i4 to this pv i8500 for recording? I know its a powered mixer but I would not be plugging in my Yamaha HS7 into the mixer. They would be plugged into 4i4

Yes, you would run a non powered out to your Scarlet via the various outs from the PA head...just not a POWERED OUT! Peace

LMAO! Loud enough for what! Try being a little more specific with your queries! For a concert hall, probably not, small venues defintely, medium probably....for larger it might be a bit weak but you could run the passive outs into powered speakers to do large venues.

I’m probably doing something wrong?? I have my nonpowered speakers connected to the back… Then I use the monitor out plug to connect my JBL powered speakers… for some reason it’s either or…but can’t use all four speakers?? Am I doing something wrong? Can all four speakers be used?? If so then WOW-this little i8500 is a TITAN! Please let me know-they have us this system as a gift to our church…and clearly I am not to savvy with PA systems thanks!
