I bought one of these as a result of this video. It really is feature packed and a great compact mixer. I would never have thought of going Peavey after using AandH for so long but it's excellent.

Excellent review Bob - you covered it all clearly and with some extra understanding of the features ( I liked the bit about the harmonics).

Is this a good quality mixer, ore should i invest more for good quality recording of synths and mics?

hi. excellent teaching on my new mixer. I was scared of it till I settled in to using it. One thing you might stress for somebody like me whose eyesight isn't as acute as could be. I plugged my jack cord to my electric guitar into the 1/4" receptacle thinking there were TWO jack inputs.. and not the Speakon one which handles BOTH types - xlr AND 1/4" . I thought my 4th mixer channel was faulty not seeing "DIRECT OUT". Thank YOU. You spared me some embarrassment when I was about to return it. I do have a question for you, though: I got two PV10's by mistake and then I started to think.. is the second one able to work as a sub-mixer and give me duplicate channels and effects, four usb A and B, AND four usb B out signals. Yes? No? Your thoughts would be much appreciated. I got a pretty good deal on each, so to keep both mig ht help me along with my streaming video program I call Front Porch Rocker. Thanks! I always had good luck with Peavy equipment. I purchased a Peavy AT 10 with autotune lasted 6 months. Channel 1 and channel 2 in the mixer section red lights keep blinking will not boot up. Called customer service, they said I had to ship it out to a service center to be repaired. I do not want to do that. Anyone out there that had the same problem and how did you remedy the problem? Thank you

can i hook up a Peavay 10 AT to the Bose Pa system

Just curious.. Can channels 5/6 be used with an AM/FM tuner using the rca inputs AND a separate DVD/BluRay player using the 1/4 inputs?

Are the Direct outs pre or post fader ??

Why did you make them flat as the older 14 models were a much better shape for live gigging. Also the lcd displays are too small. Lastly, why are the effects not shown on the model casing like before?

What amp? It's a mixer.

I don't know how you feel comfortable with this mixer! It is of very poor quality. the only positive thing is the autotune, the microphone lacks presence and the volumes are not balanced! It was the poorest purchase I made in the music world!
