Man the tones at 4:40-5:25 . Were perfect. Not overkill. Sounds great.
IMO This is by far the best low watt tube head you can get. I've tried the Marshall DSL 20HR, EVH 5150 iii lbx-s, Peavey 6505mh, Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 20, PRS MT-15 and none of them are as versatile or good as the Invective mh 🤘

I already broke my head which one to choose for playing at home) I liked MT 15 then I found out about LBX-S then they say DSL is good, and now MH... Does the speaker simulation at the XLR output turn off? is there a reactive or resistive load?

@@garikdjan6266 I have the lbx stealth and dsl20. Both absolutely killer. The lbx stealth rips way harder though!!

I am in the same boat as you - narrowed my choice to the ENGL Fireball 25 and the Peavey Invective MH. From what I hear from people, the PEavey sounds better on lower volumes than the ENGL. I will pull the trigger on the Peavey.

@@garikdjan6266 Yeah,but it doesn’t have a clean channel. The Invective has the noise gate built in plus you don’t need pedals to make it sound metal, this is a win from me. Being a bedroom warrior I am sure the Invective and a Hesu Wizard 1x12 can with the demon speaker will melt my fucking face :)

Pretty bright amp, but it seems the sound could be shaped into somewthing less sharp and fizzy since eq sections judging from video is very good and versatile.
Hi Question, If you disable the tight switch and the noise gate, is your Peavey invective very noisy. Like I just bought one and it makes sound if I tap the head with my hand. I can hear me tapping it through the cabinet.

On some level that's just the nature of high gain amps, especially ones based on the famously noisy 5150. With enough preamp gain you'll pick up a gnat's fart from 50 feet, as well as maybe a couple of local radio stations. Try dialing back the pre-gain a little - your tone will thank you.
Can anyone recommend some bands that sound like the intro song here? Love that tone!

These things are so hard to get your hands on. Mine has been on pre-order forever. I'm thinking about just getting a 6505 mh

If you already have a gate and your choice of OD the 6505 is about the same and you can get killer tones out of it. I’ve had mine since it came out and I love it.

Honestly so much more I could do with 700 buck tone seems empty
