It sure is, I was up there in a hail storm the once that calmed down after a bit, but you could hear thunder in the distance and it was very misty. Felt very strange... luckily had the weather on my side this time. Thanks for watching.. ATB... Chris 😊

Great video Chris. Loved the night time time lapse. I’d like to do a Bleaklow camp too. Got a few potential locations in mind. Bleaklow is definitely an interesting place, particularly in winter where going off piste is a boggy nightmare! Looks like your sorted for all weather conditions with the Soulo. Looks an impressive tent.

There are some good spots up and around Bleaklow, I was meaning to venture a bit further but got talking and time was getting on lol. Yeah those bogs can get insane later in the year gotta be careful for sure. The Soulo will be an awesome tent really impressed. Funny as P has been looking at the helinox chairs for us too but they are pricey. Think we may have missed the aldi chairs though but will keep checking👍. Nice one matey, a very sad but interesting place 😥 awesome you have the hilleberg soulo 👍 although I am tempted by the tarp tent scarp 1 at less than half the price of the soulo. The Aldi chairs are brilliant vfm, I find bringing a chair to camp makes a massive difference for my back 👍 looking forward to the next few camps 😁 atb Paul 🙏🏕️🏕️🏕️😁

Thanks mate yeah it does feel a bit mad round there, especially when nobody is there and even more so in the clag. Yeah had to be done but I was looking at the Scarp 1 tent with the extra poles. You can buy a Chairbag! Culled white sport! I've got one I've had it for 12 years now and I use it for servival camping and cave camping it turns into a chair and it's a good size bag! That holds everything you need for wild camping

Hi! That sounds awesome... I have something similar too its a Fjallraven Singi backpack which you can also use as a chair. It is expensive though and no backrest on the Fjallraven. Haha thanks both!! Glad youbliked the way I threw that in there. Yeah its mad round there, can get busy at times but when its quiet, you have it to yourself and depending on the weather it can feel really eerie and strange imo. The weather was pretty decent but when I woke up there were quite a few ticks on the tent and in the vestibule area, maybe cus I was actually on the pete and by some longer grass actually in part ofnthe moor maybe? The chaps up by the trig said in the morning they didnt see any there. Hahaha yeah got a restock notification from Hilleberg saying they were sending 10 sand colours into the UK and told me the dealers, I had a few beers and my Master Card next to me. Not a good combination 🤣🤣🤣 Will be superb for winter camps and bad weather summit camps though at least ill feel confident in it. That chair is a barging! Its the same design as my Helinox but that was £75 and doesn't come with the base support for softer ground. 👍

Yeah it really is! I was going to get the Helinox but sae this and thought id give it a try. Used it on about 5 or 6 camps now so already got my monies worth I think. Holding up fine still for now so lets see how durable it is. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼😊👍🏻

In the Range! In summer they sell them! For £12'99 and they last for ever! I still got my one it brilliant condition still ' I can sit down anywhere I want with my one and holds a lot of supplies for the size

My jaw dropped when I seen the soulo, its most people’s dream tent well done. You never showed us more of the inside though. How was the condensation? I was meant to be out on Saturday night, but I got all packed and had 1 foot out the door when I got a ping from NHS protect telling me to self-isolate for 10 days. I have not been out since April and I am going crazy. My girlfriend has a new job though and its closer than her current 1 so hopefully when she starts that I will get the car more often and get to go out and do some solo stuff mid-week. Another great video Chris, thanks for sharing.

Hahahaha... yeah sorry was meant to go inside and show more, will make sure I do that in a future video. My bad 🙏🏼 Absolutely no condensation whatsoever on the inner but a little on the inside of the fly sheet, hardly any wind at all though and clear all night. All grass was damp in the morning with dew so im surprised the outside never had any on. Ahh man that sucks! That app drives you nuts. Hopefully you can get out and use the car more then 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Im supposed to be coming to Scotland in September have about 10 days free. That's the plan anyway.... Said its made to be used it bad conditions so does better in them 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣 Oh well suppose ill learn whats good and whats not while I use it. Have only ever had condensation in my Helm once and that was in -7°c with a very clear night lol. Ive sent you a msg on fbook

Hi mate!! Thanks so much for clicking on my video 🙏🏼 Yeah there are quite a few pitches round there and away from the actual crash site too. The Soulo is absolutely superb! This was the first time id taken it out but there are some real good camps since with it in the Lake District if you fancied checking any of those out with a brew lol. Apart from ots performance though when out in the mountains and the worser conditions I just love it overall anyway. So easy to pitch and take down even in strong winds and the room / vestibule size is perfect for me. Money well spent imo 👍🏻 ATB mate and hope you enjoy Higher Shelf Stones! Chris

The chair is a bargain and a half I think and love how you get the anti sink thing too 👌🏻👌🏻 Yeah I parked exactly there mate 👍🏻 got told it was sound by loads of campers. Ive got a modded BMW M2 loads of custom carbon parts and it was fine. Im always nervous of leaving it while camping out lol. Got there late afternoon and left early too.
