Hi, thanks for sharing. ~11:07 you will have a burnt lid seal if you use it as a flame snuffer. You will also posably have fuel leak out of the burner all over your ruc sac and gear, having melted the seal. Trangia, Esbit and other similar burners come with a ( flame adjuster/simmerer & snuffer ).

Hey 👋🏻 I’ve just bought the bush box UL stove, made a cuppa on it last night with the trangia burner and kettle. It was good to see some proper food being cooked in it. Thank you for a great review video, ATB, Sarah

Use the simmer ring to snuff, so it doesn't burn the rubber ring and make storage of fuel inside ur stove, impossible

Hi Alex!! Thanks mate, it is an awesome little stove and works very well with alcohol burners. After not being able to find my Trangia Triangle for ages im so glad I found this. Haven't used my Trangia for over a year for some reason but ill definitely be using it more. Think I like the Ultralight stove better than the Triangle too as it has the pot support. Hahaha it is a real cool stove.. Lost my Trangia Triangle and dont think they make them anymore so found this Bushbox Ultralight and think I like it better anyway as it had the pot support which the 'Triangle' never had. Awesome bit of kit for alcohol stoves. You can use it as an actual Bushbox too so may test it out with some wood at some point see how it does... Yeah definitely not always about the hiking, sometimes its just great to be outside 😊 just saw a video of you in the Lakes having a coffee and testing put some new kit 😁👌🏻 Thanks so much they always taste better in the woods too 🍔😋 Really hope things start to improve now in 2022 had a bit of a rough start already this week now and the next couple of weeks with a few things, so hoping from Feb onwards things will pick up lol. Great bit of kit. Triangia triangles are hard to get hold of now. I got a titanium version off aliexpress and you can't get them either now so good to know there's another alternative. Used mine this weekend up in the peaks 👍

It is an awesome little stove, I seem to have lost my Trangia Triangle from ages ago and dont think you can get them anymore as they seem to be discontinued everywhere. But saw this and thought it would be a good replacement, in my opinion it is and better as you can use a pot too with the support but not with the trangia triangle as it comes. I will prob do another cooking video at some point but this time will be more ingredients involved with some chopping etc 😜 Yeah im trying not to rush back into anything and undo any recovery I have managed to do so far. My Trangia failed for the the first time this morning. Filled it up with fuel, almost to the brim, it lit but didn’t boil the water, mostly luke warm and then it ran out of fuel and ran dry. Never happened before. Maybe it was too cold? However, I do love trangia’s, simple and cheap. Great gear video, it’s a good fire guard/windshield.

Yeah they are awesome and usually use bioethanol as it burns hotter and cleaner but didnt have any 🤣 so went to my local hardware store and only had meths. Still dod the job though... Top tip: get yourself some bioethanol. Much better than methylated spirits in a Trangia👍

Yes...agree!! Bioethanol is much better, burns hotter and cleaner. Problem is I had none left as I havent used my Trangia for a while, definitely dont think ive even used it on this channel yet 🙈🤣 lol Wanted to test this new stove as I seem to have lost my old Trangia Triangle so got this to make the burgers. Stopped off at a local hardware store and all I could get was the meths, suppose I should have mentioned that somewhere 🤦🏻‍♂️ Cheers pal that is one good tip though and correct for sure! You sure don't! It is a great piece of kit but you can get cheaper for sure... I have 7 Bush boxes which I'd normally use with wood but lost my Trangia Triangle so found this and thought id give it a blast. Love the fact that it also has the pot support too should you need one. Looks very lightweight and I like the Trangia alcohol burners. Have a similar product but it's a trioxane stove. This would be great for hunting remote regions in the western states.

Can't find Trangia Triangle in the States. This might be a good alternative?

What fuel are you using, may I ask? I use a firebox titanium nano2 for my stand. It’s hinged so one pop and it’s ready to go 👍🏼. I enjoy the alcohol stove, less noise.

Hi! 👋🏻 In this video I am just using normal methylated spirits as when I went to my local store thats all they had and was doing the video that afternoon. BUT I usually use Bioethanol fuel as it heats up a lot quicker, burns a lot cleaner, faster, hotter and lasts longer too. Would highly recommend Bioethanol for these type of alcohol burner stoves. Thanks so much Gus! 🙏🏼 Yeah starting to venture out a bit more now so im really hoping ill be back in a tent very soon even on a low down one 🤞🏻 I have lost my Trangia Triangle which I had for a few years, cant find it anywhere and I believe they do not make them now. You can get second hand ones on ebay etc but they are silly prices. So found this triangular Bushbox Ultralight stove by Bushcraft Essentials, it seems to be very good and I like it better than the Trangia Triangle as it has the pot support too! The basics of it is pretty similar, but as this has an included pot support for smaller pots which I never had with my Trangia Triangle and wind protection was a little better id say yes 👍🏻

get some blumin LARD in there, flippin spray oil is rubbish ;)

You do not in afraid everything included is shown in the video. BUT, you could easily use something to put in place of where the Trangia would go and then use solid fuel ij that. See my video on the EDC Keychain survival stove for an example if you would like too ✌🏼 Thanks for watching 🙏🏼 Chris
