At the age of 16 I tried to end my life and took an intentional drug overdose and could have ended my life but the Lord had a plan for me and you; now over the years because of JESUS OUR LORD I worked with youth, doing gang intervention thru Los Angeles Mayor GYRD program and now the County of Los Angeles Program Youth Diversion and Development helping to keep kids out of Juvenile Justice System which is a collaborative with Los Angeles Police Department and non profit Champions In Service in Pacoima Calif. My young friend Joel Osteen is a false teacher who will NOT lead you to salvation, Christ himself warned against men like him in Matthew 7:15 -" Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves" which means false teachers will come as something positive with what appears to be good intentions but there true motives from within are evil. Another scripture i have for you is 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 : And no marvel for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, there for it is no great thing that his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works .Just remember this one thing if Jesus Christ himself preached like Joel Osteen or like many other false teachers do he would have never been crucified, the world truly hates the real Christ of the scriptures (John 15:18). Read the scriptures for yourself and let no man deceive you (2 Thessalonians 2:3), God bless you my young friend!

I’m TRYING!!!! I need God

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

What an inspirational story, message, & even a gift from God to you, for me & for all to hear, see & absolutely know what you experienced as well. God blessed you, indeed. I am at work currently just reading some of the beautiful comments from different people after listening to Joel & while reading yours my heart overflowed with pure joy. I will share this to my family because I do believe in Jesus that anything is absolutely POSSIBLE 🙏🙏I have so much to say but I’m unable to do so at this moment being that is such a long long story. Dear God, I am coming to you....giving you all my troubles that haunt me ..consume me and worry me . Everyday I suffer from things I worry about...I pray that you will come into my life..and heal my pain...protect me from the wrong that my enemies are trying to cast upon me. I need you to protect my peace ....and I am trusting that you will watch over my days and nights and protect me from the trials and tribulations that hold me back from prospering each day....in Jesus name, AMEN 🙏

I’m entering into God’s rest and not worry about my health.

This past year powerful companies and lawyers threatened to take my home from me! A very complicated issue that I was unable to fight for myself. I prayed for God and his angels and asked them to send me the right person to fight the case in court. I listed to God and ended up changing lawyers. I finally found one that had mercy on me that did not want to take advantage of me. I was fighting a very powerful company with very little money. I knew to trust God that this lawyer was one his angels who would fight for me until I was finally safe from the "snares of the devil" so to speak. Many times I asked how could "little me' fight these giants and in my thoughts I heard "don't worry, leave it up to God." It was hard not to worry but I understood the principal that; worry would make me physically sick. Throughout the ordeal God put many good people in my life who brought so much joy and alleviated my fears and anxiety with their friendship even though they did not know what was going on. Finally, he delivered - hard to see it at first - but in the end I understood what he did. I couldn't see what was God's plan before. I thank God today for giving back my house the best way possible and making sure that would never happened again. I also thank Osteen for his words of wisdom that kept me going and believing. One more time Osteen was there when I needed. His words kept me sane and happy. Thank you God and thank you Osteen for being there for me!

Thank you, Jesus. Yes, I desire to rest and let the good Shepherd take charge over all.

Thank you. God is everything in my life. He has helped me overcome my depression and stopped me from multiple suicide attempts.

Calm myself down. Yes. I am constantly staying busy, yet full of anxiety and worry. Thank you . lord knows I try to work things out. I always ask for peace . god clothes us yet there is a certain way to wash the cloth. God feed us as many prepare food in different ways, yet the certain storage of food is mandatory. I am a what if oh my god what how when will it STOP IT!!! I was driving myself CRAZY!!! People don’t understand all that’s why I had to listen to Joel Osteen , Joyce Meyer and others for help. I’m not in a church but I need to hear about the Heavenly Father. I want to move from my studio apartment. I got a call and am completing the applications. The lady I have to speak with sounds nasty and helpful and I want to smack her BUT today I said I will pray over her because I can’t change her and let God do his work. I have been waiting 13 years to move. I kept my peace. Life is short. My place is being created for me. Lord I thank you in advance for your grace, favor and blessings. I am muslim and I agree with what you say, there is no peace and no happiness without faith, great lesson to retain: we need to accept our life and our circumstances, we need to live our moment without much worries and with good faith on God who will take care of our concerns when believing in Him

What people don't know about me is this: The peace of God is deep within my heart always and is a gift from God. Praise God for that.

DanaLee Holland I certainly can relate DanaLee. Stop the battle and just know all you need to do is KEEP LOVING your child . Make sure they KNOW that and then prove it by respecting their wishes. That child will return to YOU when they MOST need you BECAUSE they KNOW YOU love them unconditionally. Lakewood is really nice, lots of nice people too, I'm a regular at Lakewood but I haven't been able to go because I've been busy recently but I intend on going back again when I get back from New York.

Joel my son found you three years ago when he found himself sick and all alone. in his studio apartments. I didn't hear from him in a whole week. but he said saw you on his phone. and something you said change his life . his 24years old my husband almost die that year. he told my husband to watch you on KZread. and he did my husband. was at peace. when.he started hearing you and found hope. to many miracles happened. after that. they found God

Yesterday I had a huge problem, I didn’t sleep at night I was in distress. I prayed and begged God to fix it. He fixed it,YESTERDAY,he fixed my problem.Thank you Lord, today is Ash Wednesday the first day of lent. It is amazing that I ASKED and I Received. I am going for endoscopy in a few hours and listening to this message the second time-this time without searching for relevant topic. I had been so worried from the day doctor recommended this examination, but thank you Joel for re-uniting the scattered pieces of PEACE and FAITH in me. Thank you God to make peace in my heart after everything that happened to me, my heart is rest now. No more stress, depression, sickness and disease in my body. In September 2019 I was arrested by CBSA because of no status in Canada they put me in prison for seven days and leave my two daughters with my friends and I was so worried and thinking a lot but I come to realize that if God is for me who can be against me no one!!! I used to pray with psalm 91 and 27 to God that Lord you're my shepherd I'm not going to stress or crying anymore because i know you have my back and I trust you, after seven days I get a bail of $2000 Canadian dollars, and I'm still in Canada by God grace.
