Yes this message of hope and peace is so wonderful as I continue to live my life getting divorced at age 62. My Grandmother always told me that she lived several lives throughout her life. That she doesn't recognize the girl that stepped off the boat, after WWII, into this beautiful America. She said it's a wonderful country no matter what your situation is.

I’m very Catholic too, and Joel has brought me closer to Christ. I don’t get the sense that he’s Anti-Catholic like Hagee and other preachers. Anyway, I’ve battled with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, negativity for most of my life and Joel is sometimes way better than therapy. Since I started listening to him, my entire life has changed for the better and I’m much more comfortable in my own skin.

I dont care what anyone says. I tried to commit suicide 5 months ago..... and struggle with depression, PTSD, Trauma... and wanting to die. I gave Joel a chance and he is helping to save a soul in despair. I'm broken & need milk. Thank you brother for a simple yet powerful message for a weak babe in Christ who was in dire need of encouragement.... This message was for me....

If you have trouble concentrating while praying. I think having the background sounds of a sermon and/or Spiritual music always helps me be surrounded by THE SPIRIT

I was ready to take my own life this weekend, I had been on meth for awhile and it just taken everything out of me! I have two great kids who love me so much and I feel like how bad I just failed them. I kept saying to myself if am a better parent I'll just give them to someone else so they could be happy! I just now see that they will be happier then ever if I just let God in my life and let him show me how to change, then am sure I could learn to love myself for everything and move forward with my life with my kids! Please pray for me because I am weak right now but I want to be strong!

Rosa , my name is Rosalinda, I too struggled with an addiction, i would get up every morning sick because I needed the drug ! I would cry , and ask God to take this addiction away, I was ready to change my life! My drugs of choice were (heroin, crack) , I finally decided one day after work to fill up 2 syringes full of what I called poison! I called my oldest son of 4 And said I was ready to quit ,but that I was afraid because I had been told that some people die from trying to quit heroin! ,but Rosa, I was ready... I had also told my son if I didn't get help soon I was going to fill my veins with 2 syringes full of heroin! Knowing had I done that I would've gotten to the second syringe! So, a couple of days went by didn't hear from my son who had said he was going to talk to his brothers and see what they could come up with! So, I still hasn't used it was two days , I still had the syringes full! I went to a clinic to ask for help they denied me , because I had to be a user for more then 1yr.! I was SHOCKED!! Confused and angry I left the clinic went home and did half of the syringe! I was angry at myself cause I was doing the very thing I wanted to quit doing!! Following morning I went to work (landscaping) i worked only so that I wouldn't work the streets !! Well , after I had gotten home I showered and my boss knock on the bathroom door and said their are 4 young men, and a small child outside asking for me!! Without rinsing the soap, and shampoo I dressed ran out side and seen the most beautiful sight my SON'S AND MY GRANDSON!! I ran as fast as I could into they're arms I stepped back full of shame covering my arms and waited for my son to speak, his words were music to my ears, you see Rosa I hadn't talked or seen my son's what seemed like a life time!! He said mom we love you let's go I looked up and said let me get my things, as I turned to go back into the house for my clothes , I had 8 strong arms grab me and said you don't need what's inside that house let's go!! They walked with me to thank my boss told him to throw my belongings and I had told him about the syringes in my bag! So he wouldnt get poked or anything! I went home with my SON'S I told them about the clinic so, I stayed with my second eldest , Rosa those were the hardest most terrifying weeks of my life!! It took 13 days no doctors, no meds, just hardcore tuff love!!! I'm very proud to say I've been clean now for 12yrs strong! During my sick days I cried out to God , shouted at the top of my lungs after my son would leave for work, I could've easily gone out to get a fix, but everytime I'd walk towards the door God would whisper in my ears I love you , you are my child , I am with You! Those words kept me from going out!! We serve a mighty mighty God, and I praise him everyday and I'll walk with him until my work here is done! I walk by faith and not by sight !! I'll pray for you Rosa, just know you are a child of God and he has already forgiven you ! God be with you and your children Rosa God bless you!!

testimony of God's grace and goodness 11-06-16 I was going to Lakewood Church for Saturday night service the freeway was closed so we had to detour off the exit well I was coming to a stop then a car hit us doing about 40 miles per hour my wife was screaming fearing for her life she yelled Jesus everything stopped we was in traffic we could have collided with many vehicles but instead he was able to pull to the side the car that hit us was basically split in two amazingly we all survived with no injuries even the guy that hit us not only that but throughout the process God was giving us strength to trust him more I was worried about damages cost to repair at that time I didn't even have money for my rent but God Made A Way his insurance covered everything I paid my rent all of my bills put money away for next rent went Christmas shopping and i even gave my 10% to God when God wants to bless you he will go above and beyond anything you can ever imagine I am a living testimony

My husband work far away in KSA..I gave birth to our son without him.. and now my son is turning 4 years old they never meet yet in person only video call..if not this pandemic, He would have been home, their company always delayed their salary, sometimes no salary at all.. This things makes me worried, anxiety attact me, depression makes me weak.. but when I watch Joel Osteen preaching I was reminded & my faith was restored.. thank you father God in heaven for using Joel Osteen, continue to blessed him & the people who will hears him..Amen

I always felt like a failure for simple mistakes or having issues recalling things about work or studies. Battling with depression and I don't think anyone around me would be able to understand how much effort it takes to fight a battle with yourself inside your mind, every single day. I am still learning to accept myself. Will listen to this again and again. Thank you

Thank you DEAR LORD for bringing this message to my heart today. Everything in this sermon is exactly what I needed to hear. I've spent my whole life down on myself, criticizing everything about me & the whole time not realizing that I am unique. There is no one else in this world that is like me. You created me as a one of a kind, an original, exceptional, talented, intelligent person. You know I struggle with low self esteem, depression & anxiety. And there are times when I say 'why me LORD? why can't I be normal & not have all these problems '. But today is the day that I stop feeling sorry for myself. Today I stop allowing the enemy to make me hate myself. Yes I have daily struggles & sometimes it's hard to keep going, to keep trying especially when it seems like the harder I try, the more life throws at me. But now I understand why. The enemy wants to keep me down. He wants me to give up so I'll blame you for everything that's wrong in my life. Now I see those struggles as a learning experience. So I can become stronger & wiser. Looking back on my past, I see that I did make it through the fire. You were there with me & you gave me strength I didn't know I had. I have come a long way in a short period of time & that's bc of you MY LORD. You have always been with me & have loved me unconditionally. Knowing that, now it's time for me to start loving myself. Yes! I agree, but if we follow this believe, theoretically we could be good with God but not with ourselves? We can love God, yet not be happy with your ourselves. can we expect to have a good relationship with God if we don't have one with ourselves? Thank you 🙏

@@dmac5935 Happiness is good for sure, but a right relationship with Christ means no matter what, happy, sad or anyother normal human emotion we put him first. He's the God of the mountain, but He's still God in the valley. We are being feed a people pleasing, self seeking Gospel in this modern age. We are called to always be Joyful, because our Joy comes from him.

I'm working on forgiving myself to make peace within me for being too nice and passive in the pass, specially back in my school days. And by me watching this video did helped as well. What I does do when I take my walks, I be listening to meditation music from my phone and just think about God/The Lord while clearing my mind. And I do feel that forgiving myself to make peace within me is the key thing that's missing about me. By me working on to forgive myself making peace within me is opening doors to my happiness it feels like. And what I should always remind myself, as I'm forgiving myself making peace within myself, forgive others and let go & let God.

Liking yourself doesn’t mean you put yourself above others it means you open yourself to accept/receive God’s love and let it flow through you and out to others.

Wow!! This hits hard. I've learned a great deal about myself in this 27 minutes. I believe in Jesus and God. Yet I hold back. My heart is so heavy all time. I'm not myself anymore. In fact I hate the person I've become. My sins have drove me off the path of the Lord. I know this...yet struggle internally . My heart is so heavy and hurting so badly. My fear is I won't be able to let go of the past and one day my heart will give out. Father give me grace as I try and find my way back home. Thank you to the uploader of this service. I really needed this.

Are you going to let the past rob you of the present, the future? Why did Jesus let Himself be crucified? He wanted the repented sinner to know forgiveness. Repent and give thanks for the Holy blood of Jesus that washes away sins. Jesus loves you. Go forward. We can't change the past but we can change the future.

I try to watch a sermon every day in the morning. Helps me stay grounded and focused as I go through my day. I've noticed consistent feedback from Muslims about enjoying and listening to Joel. I think that's really cool. God and love conquer racism, and I think the same for religious divide. Amen!

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!
