Keep in mind that you can get the code and restart the heist, and the code will not change. This works wonders if you're trying to get the Spec Ops achievement, since you can skip the whole manager part, and if it goes south before you get the code, you can keep brute forcing it while the bots hold the cops, then restart and type the same code.

If you fail by getting caught after getting the codes just restart specially after getting the codes from the computer because it’s the same one when restarting the heist and just go to the vault after opening the gate and put the code in no need to get the manager 🤷🏻‍♂️ and no need to mask up, you can carry the bags through the front of bank and to the van

@@nathandingyCongrats, you're lucky. There are 24 codes and 10s per code, that's 240s or 4 minutes. If you spend 4 minutes entering codes, you should have just stealthed the heist

Doing that 3 times would take the amount of time you'd need to learn that heists overkill variant and just rock it.

stealthing would make it so much faster especially when ur good at it

I know this is 3 weeks late and I'm not 100% sure about it, but if it's 3 digits, one of the numbers is kind of double highlighted so you can tell it was pressed twice. That significantly cuts down brute force time as you know one of the digits is used twice. In the video with the Gold bank, the 6 is double highlighted and the code ended up being 2466.

If you only see 3 fingerprints beside the enter key, just get the manager.

on the bank heist to get to the computer its actually really easy. If its the computer on the left all you need to do is crouch up to the shelf next to the computer than vault, drop and crouch immediately. and for the right side you can just sneak up to it behind the workers

You don't need to take control of the whole room. The exec on the left end by the front glass is the safest option. The one on the right is the fastest. The manager's computer can easily be stealth. The spread sheet is probably faster but I would rather be playing than going back and forth trying numbers. That's just me.

this is useful, sometimes it can be hard to remember which ones youve done, when youre on like the 9 or 10th code

That is 1000X longer than just walking over to the pc and getting it..

No rest for the wicked is the hardest map loud/stealth in the game for me at least, touch the sky just takes a long time because of the wifi section like 99 boxes

⁠@@danivalvalsson8174after doing gold and sharke, dirty ice and no rest for the wicked all solo stealth on overkill, I personally think dirty ice is the toughest to stealth at least for overkill. The very close quarters plus numerous guards constantly on the move due to their short paths is very tricky to bypass. Although on overkill it is nice that you can clean out the whole vip area and the rare stone in the vault to get 100% loot and not need to hit the front. Gold and sharke was an absolute breeze with lots of room to move around and can easily be done unmasked.. dirty ice took me too many attempts to count, once you’re used to overkill anything less feels easy to stealth.

@@TrueBluePlaysGames I feel like 1 cam on the smoking guy and one on lead and dirty ice is a ez win, while no rest needs rng with the civ spawn so the hostage scan goes smoothly, doing no kills on 99 boxes and touch the sky was easy compared to that

It took him longer to explain that than it took me to finish this no mask...

There’s a website for this already, it also includes functionality to highlight the codes that are wrong and the one that’s right (I’ll post link when possible)

The Touch the Sky map or something I'd rather do the code brute force than risking them hallways lol

I did this method this morning but I had a pen and paper and wrote it all it down and ticked it off one by one, and I tried looking up 3976 all possible combinations but nothing was coming it up and only how to x times all it 💀

permutations is what you are looking for

This will never be worthwhile on dirty ice as it only takes 0:02:30 to complete masked stealth overkill difficulty, but averages 3 minutes to brute force

idk why, but I always guess these 💀. like in the 4-5 try 😂. don’t even need codes unless it only shows 3 digits. but still the 3 digits is also easy. but great vid for the people who need it.

Its a nice tool to have but personally potentially 24 attempts is way too much time wasted, certainly a good tool to use if the code has double digits as the to total attempts to success drops significantly per doubled digit.

When you see 3 finger prints the brightest one was pressed twice 5:14 , the Number 6 was brighter then 2 and 4. honestly if there is 3 press then the number combo should be easier. As it's less than 24 combinations.

Even if you sure, that one number pressed twice, you might be deceived. For example, i've had 7 3 4 with fingerprints. And "3" was pressed twice. But after hacking the computer I wonder that "7' was pressed twice. May be it's a bug, but now i'm not sure about twice touched numbers.

It takes half that time if you just play as intended. Even less than that with a friend. One person mask up, go in stealth, other come in afterwards unmasked and purposely get spotted to move and pickpocket the guards, camp the office when it's time to open the vault, read out code. If you bring a zipline, walk the bags to the roof, zipline them across, throw them one by one down, have the unmasked heister load the van. Quick and easy on any difficulty. On G&S do the same, but take it to the roof, toss down the bags into the driveway, unmasked loads the van. Best duo combo, you can have one sneaky Boi and a hacker/pickpocket. For funsies, have one stealth Boi, and one thiccums so if things do go loud whilst you're loading up the last bag you can sneak out whilst the other wreaks havoc whilst laughing maniacally.

Find the code, memorize it, restart the heist, then on your second run put the code in from the first run (it will be the same). end of story. It should have been a 2-minute video for a "how to" guide.

Secondary runs are always easier and quicker because you have the code from the first run, just get the code, restart the map and the code will be the same every time for every map.. stop teaching people how to do it the hard way.. 😡

Don't really see the point of this. You STILL have to get the key cards off the guards and unlock the outer vault security doors. It's not that hard to kill the 2 guards silently and control the hostages. Standing in that one spot for 6 minutes trying to figure out a code, when you could have killed the 2 guards and brought the manager down in 2. Just seems like a waste of time doing it this way. Also if people don't have 2 monitors they are going to have to alt+tab out every code they enter or have to get the doc up on their phone or ipad or something.

Yeah I mean you could just stealth the mission for significantly faster results. I think Payday 3 should be updated where if you keep like 3 times, the alarm is triggered.

If I decide to brute force I always followed my own pattern. I start in order than keep swapping. 1458 > 1485 > 1548 > 1584 > 1845 > 1854 > and so on. Some reason this just works in my head.

They should make the alarm go off after a certain amount of wrong codes.

Their community refuses to meet the game on the game's terms, and HAS to min/max every single aspect of it to death. I honestly kinda hope they just take away the code hint prints and make you unlock a singular code with the objective because of cheese like this.

I cant imagine playing a heist game and wasting my damn time guessing codes and think that's fun when its just simply not faster. This "tool" is just a way to track numbers. How you got an 8 minute video out of this is mind blowing.

Dude, I can literally say how to do this in 20 seconds.. Do you know how to speedrun? Doesn't matter what difficulty just go into the heist find out the code for the keypad, once you have the code and have it memorized we re-start the heist go in and put the numbers into the keypad from the previous heist, it should work every time.

Just play the game as intended…you’re honestly not saving yourself more than a minute or two by doing this. If maskless is really that important to you find the code and then reset. I will never understand why people insist on playing a game without actually playing it. You want to brute force 4 digit combinations you can just sit in an excel sheet and type them yourself all afternoon.

30 minutes to solve the dirty ice code when all three codes are in plane sight on walls, that is wild won’t catch me using this “trick” I’ll just be good at the game and payday 2 my way around the place
