If you have to go, make sure you're dealing with a reputable pawn shop. Some will give you a loan on your stuff - especially the pricey stuff - then when you go back to redeem it they will go into the back room and be gone for a while, then come back and tell you: "Sorry, we looked everywhere but we just can't find it." They put that bullet-proof glass up for a reason.

We have a plasma bank/clinic around my house that offers $800 a month for your plasma. The parking lot is completely full every day this "bank" is open. The line of people giving their blood to stay above water is out the door all day. You can just look at the way these people are dressed and the junk cars they're driving and see the level of poverty.

@@michaeloneill5877 A few years ago there was a reddit thread on JB which has some information if you do a search. However, I do not put much weight into it because my viewpoints happened to agree with JB on a wide range of topics.

Not sure why people even bother with financial advice from various channels tbh. Most are trying to flog courses or other rubbish and appeal to those that want to get rich quick. Pretty simple really imo. Work hard, stay out of debt and don't spend more than you earn. Keep doing that and you will get there eventually. Not as exciting as the good old boom/bust mentality but very satisfying nonetheless imo.

JB, i appreciate your time and efforts to warn the general public. The ones who don't listen or think this is funny or a joke will have a big surprise waiting for them! God Bless!

JB, don't go down the path of bagging other channels too much mate. I do totally get what you're saying - they're full of sheet, and or they just don't meet the level of conviction and integrity that I think you have. But bagging these channels is a dead-end road, it can escalate and then it potentially becomes this tit-for-tat trash and it dilutes the great work you're doing (I've been there!!!!!). Just saying.
