Amazing actor. This got me through rough COVID times. I was bawling and watched the series so many times. So raw and real.

You know, looking back, I don't remember much of my high school and seeing this made me realize, it must be either so sad and old miserable that I don't remember any of it or it's just not that relevant anymore of who I am today.. this scene has so much emotions and/or can be a trigger for unnecessary past/hidden memories/events..

This should all be connected to his love with Marianne. He misses her and can't live without her. He's a part of her. Of course, he is mourning Rob, but she was a part of that life too. He feels inadequate and wants to be more for her. He wants more and doesn't know what to do, or how to old on.

Mescal could do a MacArthur Park hit single biopic, as Richard Harris ofc.

Tremendous acting out of Connell. Look at these links. This is horrendous abuse on what happened to this man by our public servents (An Garda Schiocana), The judiciary and The Legal Profession. This man would break down in front of a therapist similiar as Connell here except it would be in real life. I know this might seem unusual to compare this to this clip/scene, but is it valid? I think so. This is so shocking and it happened in Ireland aswell
