It is really funny that this scene is showing the awful treatment of Joan, a really complicated character and smart woman and how the men are terrible and just see her as some sex icon. And then the comments on this video just show that men literally haven't evolved since.

The fact that the same actress that played the therapist also was Calamity Jane in Deadwood is impressive and hilarious. Total opposite demeanor and yet played perfectly.

Once again Lorelai proves what a horrible toxic narc she has always been. At 16 she hated her parents for no other reason than they were rich & had high hopes for future which did not include her getting pregnant, but she did. They were upset, of course, but they supported her by not forcing her into marriage in spite of the circumstances & expectations in 1984. Yet she turned her back on them anyway & ran away. Now here as a nearly 50 year old woman, she can't control her drinking at her father's funeral, acts like she can't recall a single kind moment they shared together and she still tries to make Emily the villain. LG was a horrible person. Poor Emily. She deserved soooooo much better. Kelly Bishop is a divine actress.

Unfortunately Charles is a throw back to this man. His infatuation with a promiscuous socialite who mothered him meant far more than his duty as monarch to his nation.

OJ was guilty. We all know that now. But him being acquitted as an act of revenge for the Rodney King Beating was probably the biggest middle finger the US police force has ever gotten.

Wether shes telling the truth or her experience as a psychotic delusion or it actually happened, the world she painted with that story is absolutely horrific and I understand why she wouldn’t feel welcomed there out of all people. For the 2%, having their entire family coming back would be a huge deal, but for Noras family, having their mother come back wouldn’t be as impactful or change much about their lives

June 17 1994 the 30 for 30 by ESPN was prefect. The total opposite of everything this 'documentary" is. This stupid shit OJ: Made In America is total absolute garbage. Just 6 years. 6 years the entire scope of America and the world changed. The damage the hateful presidency of Obama brought is uncalculatable. People 1000 years from now will not be able to comprehend the rapid downfall. It was not just 6 years. It was generations in the chamber. The lawyers literally made the jury think DNA just does not exist. In 2010, you can get an actual documentary, in 2016, it is all revisionist history. This was the moment that made it okay for people to commit felonies without caring about retribution. This is why California is a total shithole now. Why crime is rampant. You are now just allowed to commit crime. SERIOUS CRIME. Murder people. It took a generation. But it was all downhill from here. This is the inflection point. The part at 1:55, where that dude is saying "Oj transcended Race" Just what the fuck. Total insanity. "Became celebrity" we have gone over the cliff into total insanity. You have to appreciate the levels of insanity that is at hand here. And this was in 2016! It is 2024, we are so fuckin far gone from then!

After all these years I realized that it really is all a lie but it doesn't matter that she's lying because he believes her. If she goes to a world where her counterpart doesn't exist why would the same physicist exist in both worlds? The pure love of believing someone and coming back to them ❤

I struggle watching this show, especially these therapy scenes with Celeste. I made up SO MANY excuses to my therapist, and even flat out lied a few times. I was just to ashamed and embarassed. But like the therapist in this show, mine was so cleverly intuitive, respectful and helpful. My marriage was explosively abusive to where I was actually hoping he'd kill me this time so I wouldnt have to deal with the pain... I got out and I'm still healing, with lots of support and love around me that i couldnt be more grateful for. This show just hits so close to home, and its messages and themes were conveyed brilliantly
