The whole world should stop and listen when PB speaks.....he is a brilliant and independent thinker that doesn't share enough. Thank you for this video. He has very little to gain in sharing his wisdom. It is invaluable to us.
Paul you are the man! Thank you for the priceless insight!
Thanks for sharing your wisdom, it is extremely valuable!
“A little bit of slope makes up for a lot of y-intercept” (44:45) is by John Ousterhout source: www.quora.com/What-are-the-most-profound-life-lessons-from-Stanford-Professor-John-Ousterhout
Uncertainty vs risk, apply heuristics and risk analysis respectively. Doing risk analysis in times of uncertainty will lead to a bad outcome because you won't know what you don't know.
great talk. thanks for sharing the video this is very helpful.
33:30 great founder checklist
"PG is the Pied Piper of nerds" - so true :D Very insightful talk for founders as well as investors! Good for me as a founder to see it from the investor perspective.

Act as an investor?
@53:45 Man, I really don't like this reasoning of yours. You cannot expect that they quit their main source of income BEFORE they have raised enough to pay them XYZ: Normal people need a primary source of income to SURVIVE. This is almost like super rich people that are asked to guess the prices of everyday items and come up with ridiculous numbers like $20 for a milk as they are so aloof...
Is there any advice here or just a self celebration biography? Disappointing. Less bio more lessons especially when in a "course" please. Thanks!

I disagree. The bio is informative actually. Nobody can answer direct startup questions, it’s not possible. Self learning from other people experiences is the way.
